Cate Blanchett got sexy in the sand for the October issue of W Magazine. She may be playing Bob Dylan in one of her latest movies, but there's no doubting her femininity in these photos. It's still hard for us to imagine her playing Bob but the pictures of Cate as Bob are pretty amazing. In the article, Cate dishes about working on I'm Not There and how she never steps away from a challenge. Here are highlights:
On the roles she chooses: "I used to constantly play that Truth, Dare, Kiss or Promise game as a child. I guess I've never outgrown it. If somebody challenges me to do something, I say okay. I say okay very quickly."
On playing Bob Dylan: "It's another crazy idea," she says. "I just strapped those breasts down and went for it."
The all-star cast of Reservation Road hit the Toronto Film Festival, first stopping off for a press conference to discuss the film. Sure, Joaquin wasn't looking his very best but (the newly daughter-expecting) Mark more than makes up for it in the adorable factor. Mira and Jennifer looked like they were having a lot of fun with their male co-stars (hey, I wouldn't mind spending an afternoon with those boys). Unfortunately little Elle Fanning didn't make it out to the press conference - she is just precious. I loved the book of Reservation Road (not to be confused with Leo/Kate's Revolutionary Road), so I'm definitely excited to see this one. Hopefully this excellent cast will be able to do the story justice.
Brad Pitt and Edward Norton Together Again! Fight Club reunion! Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will share the screen again in State of Play, a film adaptation of the British miniseries. Kevin MacDonald, who did a phenomenal job with Last King of Scotland, will direct.
Demi, Emmy & Diane are NY Fashion Week troopers! They ran around from front row to party to front row and look as fresh faced as ever taking in the Donna Karan show this morning, the final half day of FW. Rosario looks great, too of course, but she's played it a little more low key this week. In case you missed out on any of the Fashion Week Fun (wheee!) definitely check out Fab & Bella's coverage of all the big events here and on Elle.com!
Love It or Hate It? Robert Downey, Jr. Goes Blonde Oh, Robert. This photo of him at the premiere of The Brave One leaves me at a loss, honestly. It's as though he ganked Joey Fatone's facial hair and Jerry Stiller's hair color, then topped it all off with a spiky Ryan Cabrera 'do.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
