Lauren Conrad continued to reap the benefits of working in the fashion industry by showing off a few French Connection dresses in Malibu over the weekend. We're especially loving her little drape-backed number, which you can learn more about here. LC seems to be turning into a hot commodity in the fashion world. The lucky girl is even getting a chance to walk the line at the coveted Marc Jacobs show during fashion week.

This could be another reason why Heidi tried to steal some of the spotlight by wedding dress shopping. On Monday we were still more interested in the back-on romance between Lauren and Brody over Heidi's boring lunch with Jen Bunney. Our gal Geek rolled out yet another quiz on this week's episode and we totally nailed it and got a perfect score - but we think Geek was being easy on us this week.

Charlize has the right idea on this film festival thing. She got into town just in time for her movie's moment, but made sure to have some time to shop afterwards. She was also taking advantage of the (admittedly antiquated) not wanting to wear white after Labor Day by spending her Sunday looking gorgeous and light. Charlize should be rewarding herself, too -- In The Valley Of Elah got a standing ovation and is expected to be a contender for the festival's top honor. Is there another little gold man in her future? Sounds like maybe so.

Gwen Stefani was seen downtown in NYC after enjoying a lunch during what will surely be a busy week for the singer/designer/HP spokesperson. Not only has her new video just been released but in case you haven't heard - it's Fashion Week! Her video features Damien Marley which is cool and the tune is catchy but it's reminiscent of her old school style which I was never a huge fan of. Perhaps she is getting back into character since she hopes to reunite with No Doubt soon. We're looking forward to seeing Mommy Gwen at some point with her little man Kingston. It may have been UK GQ's Men Of The Year Awards last night in London, but it was all eyes on the ladies - some of our favorite supermodels in particular. Helena, Elle and Naomi all looked as smoking hot as they did at the peak of their fame - lucky, lucky. Claudia Schiffer recently said she thinks the Supermodel is dead because of the prevalence of actors/starlets in ads and on magazine covers, but it doesn't feel that way looking at these fabulous stars. Plus, could anyone ever live up to this era of models? Their younger peers are busy making names for themselves at New York Fashion Week but these are some big stilettos to fill.

Over a week went by without a picture of Christina Aguilera in some sort of flowy top, and we were beginning to wonder if she had gone into baby bump hiding a la Nicole Richie before her Diane Sawyer interview. However, she made an appearance in LA this weekend, this time wearing a loose fitting maxi dress - typical. We guess we're just going to have to wait until Christina's performance at the Emmys to see for ourselves. That being said, we wouldn't be surprised if she found another conveniently loose-fitting dress to keep us in the dark. Speaking of the Emmys, have you filled out your ballot yet?

Keira Knightley wore a craaaaa-zy chest baring dress to the London premiere of Atonement last night. The look obviously emphasizes how boney she is, though I think she (understandably) never wants to talk about that again. Even though she was back at home for the premiere, her boyfriend Rupert wasn't around for the red carpet. Keira's no stranger to the red carpet, of course, which she recently showed off playing an actress in the short film series she made as part of her Coco Mademoiselle campaign for Chanel. It's all very old school Hollywood glamour and I think she plays it well.

Kate Moss was looking adorably stylish in London the other day after a meeting with her Topshop folks. We just got a sneak peek at the new line in stores later this week and we can't wait to see more. We were a little worried about those rumors of a Kate and Pete reconciliation, but it looks like Kate may be moving on for real this time. Apparently she's found herself a new rocker named Jamie Hince. Supposedly her new man stays away from drugs - yay! - and his biggest vice is chain smoking. Can't say that we find smoking to be particularly attractive, but as long as Kate has found someone who is happier and healthier than Pete then we're happy to support him.
