Kate Bosworth and her cute as a button (can I say that more times?) boyfriend James Rousseau strolled around Manhattan on Monday. They're like a postcard for just about any city they're photographed together in. Just like Ashley and our very own Fab, I bet the little fashionista (who looks awesome even when she's just wearing Target) is staying around for NY Fashion Week shows. She definitely loves the front row perks - lucky girl!

Johnny Depp arrived in Venice wearing his signature fedora, but on the red carpet he proudly showed off a new short haircut that we are absolutely loving - and drooling over. Johnny was at the festival in all of his manjoyable glory to present Tim Burton with a Golden lifetime achievement award. These guys have worked on tons of projects together, and of course Johnny showed nothing but love for Tim, saying,

"He is a rare breed in today's cinema. Beyond that he is a true original, a true artist, a true auteur. He's my favorite director and friend."

It's always so fun to hear about celebrities being such close friends even when off the set. We can't wait to see these two back on the red carpet again for Sweeney Todd. Ok, maybe we just can't wait to see hot Johnny again.

Brad Pitt has been everywhere lately, from Venice to Deauville to Yankee Stadium, and now he's landed on the cover of a couple of magazines. Brad shows off his sexy mug for Details and V this week and is dishing on everything from Jennifer Aniston to aging to his adorable family. Here are highlights:

• On Jen:
  “Jen and I still maintain a deep friendship and have a lot of life together that isn’t erased in any way. The most important thing about that time was for Jen and me to figure out if — how do I put it? — if we didn’t want to go on without any outside influence. Is this where we got off? Have we taken this as far as we wanted to? Those questions had to be answered before an attraction for Angie could be answered.”
• On expanding his family:
  “You just look at them and go, my daughter’s from Ethiopia, two sons from Asia, a daughter who’s born in Namibia—and they are brother and sister. They have the same dynamics I had growing up, and I . . .” Pause. “It pleases me so much. I get so warm. I don’t even see in that, anymore, what their lives could have been. I have to intellectually think about that. They are a bond, they are a family. And I want to see those bonds and that family grow. And that right there, sitting in our kitchen, is how I want to see the world. It’s how I want the world to be.”

Brad is ever the diplomat, which just makes him seem sexier. Plus, being so enamored with his kids and gushing about them whenever he can always adds to his appeal.

Fergie was spotted looking incognito (well, as much as she ever can) making her way through LAX yesterday. She bumped into Nicky Hilton outside the airport, which is funny (but definitely not the most random random celeb encounter recently). Over the weekend Fergie hopped up to Seattle briefly to play at the Bumbershoot Festival, and then she was back in LA and immediately off to the airport again to catch some of NY Fashion Week. From there, she heads to Vegas for this weekend's MTV VMAs. Talk about an exhausting schedule! Hey, that's the life of a celebrity.

Nick Lachey was looking a little bit jet lagged at his home away from home, LAX, on Monday. We thought he was heading out of town for a male bonding trip with Drew, but it looks like he swapped his brother for his girlfriend at some point. Can't say this is a big surprise since we all know how much Nick and Vanessa love their romantic getaways.

Joshua Jackson looked pretty dreamy stopping by an ATM at a mall in Los Angeles yesterday (thank goodness for those Dawson's Creek royalties - ha, I kid). While he was all cute and preppy at the mall, his gorgeous girlfriend is overseas stealing the show at the Venice Film Festival. Speaking of Dawson's (um, always), maybe Josh can have a little LA reunion with James Van Der Beek to congratulate his former colleague on his new gig guest starring on Ugly Betty. Good times.
