The Hills girls (minus Heidi, natch) had a completely non staged day of fun at the swanky Polaroid Beach House (read all about it here) in Malibu yesterday. Fresh from her trade show, LC was still showing off her own wares in blue (though I still prefer her self-designed Teen Choice number). Look at all the wholesome fun! My favorite, Lo, was in the house probably being the wittiest one there. Audrina was conspicuously JustinBobby-less...though methinks there is a reconciliation on the show. Also, Brody may be the cheesiest ever, but he's pretty cute -- and on this week's show his flirty faux-hurt banter with Lauren was kinda endearing. Looks like that nasty injury, brought on by LC's aggressive tackling, is healing nicely.
Ryan Phillippe has kept us wavering back and forth lately on whether or not he's still the hot guy we fell for back during the Cruel Intentions era. We can't help but gush over him when he's with Ava and Deacon, but he's definitely been acting more sleazy - not to mention in need of serious fashion advice. So, what do you think - has Ryan lost his appeal?
Two of our favorite Beckhams came out to play yesterday, and we can't decide which one is yummier. Thankfully, we don't have to choose. Unfortunately, Becks wasn't feeling as good as he looked on the field last night. Apparently that ankle injury has been acting up again and he had to leave the game, plus he'll have to miss five of the next six games with the Galaxy. When asked about his injury, David said,
"I'm devastated to have been taken out of the game when I was because I was looking forward to this game. I've been given the rest to try and get my ankle feeling better and it felt better."
Poor Becks. This probably wasn't how he envisioned spending his first year in LA, but hopefully he'll get the rest he needs so Soccer Beckham can make a triumphant return soon.
Hayden was out of her diva cape and cute again in jeans with her entourage of boys in Paris yesterday. Plus she looks a whole lot happier, so maybe she just wasn't into that look either. H & her boys posed for some cute shots in front of the Eiffel Tower on their whirlwind trip through Paris before dressing up for their nighttime event. It's gotta be fun being the only girl on that trip - Hayden is totally loving all the big brother-esque attention.
Jennifer Garner looked absolutely gorgeous at a press conference for her new movie The Kingdom in Tokyo today. Maybe a little vacation was just what she needed to get back in touch with her more glamorous side. Whatever she's doing, it's working because we are totally blown away by her soft waves and cute trendy outfit. Ben and Violet must be bursting with pride back in the states.
Jude Law got all spiffed up for his arrival at the Venice Film Festival today. Awww, look, he even put on his very best bronzer for the press conference and photo call for his movie Sleuth. And check out those kicks! Hey, non-red-carpet-appropriate 90s throwback! One thing he was missing, though, was his adorable baby blue tie new lady friend, former Miss Germany Susan Hoecke. I won't bother getting too attached to this one, because the perennial bachelor doesn't seem to stick with women for too long these days. Hey, at least she hotted him up for the moment. We all know how fleeting that can be with Mr. Law.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
