This week started out with Sunday's Teen Choice Awards - feels like forever ago already, right? To be fair, it was a little anticlimactic, but at least there were some hotness girls. Here's what else went down:
It looks like Britney's happy about how people are receiving her hot new single! A super-peppy Britney talked it up with a couple of guys before heading into the dance studio in LA yesterday - gearing up for her big VMA disappearing act, perhaps? Now that we've heard her new track, our faith is restored that she'll be able to make her big comeback. Hopefully she'll work on behaving herself in her personal life too, starting with her big hosting gig at the opening of LAX nightclub in Vegas tonight. Maybe she'll even do an impromptu performance of Gimme More?
Ryan definitely said he was going to be hanging out in Europe for the next while, but it looks like he just couldn't stay away from Hollywood as he was seen ducking out of Dan Tanas last night. (I'd like to think it was those precious kids of his.) Can I just say he looks eew? Why is he so sweaty? You were fairly divided yesterday on whether or not Ryan has lost his appeal, but these kinda seal the deal for me. Or maybe the cameras just caught him at an off moment?
Mandy Moore may have been wearing an oversized cardigan, but she still managed to look cute signing autographs for fans in LA last night. Something about Mandy is always the sweetest ever, but she's taking on the role of badass for How I Met Your Mother. I adored her on Scrubs, so I can't wait to see her on TV again. Plus, even the preview of her alongside NPH is legen-wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the next half is-dary. Yays.
George Clooney was looking as Manjoyable as ever in his tuxedo at the premiere of Michael Clayton in Venice today. We often wonder how George manages to stay so gorgeous as he ages, but apparently it's not his fitness that is keeping him in business. When asked about his exercise regimen, he said, "Well, we do a lot of aerobics and a lot of dance; a lot of jazzercize, a lot of, what's that, ab-master, butt-blaster? Yeah, that's it." Leave it to George to never take anything seriously.
Fresh off the stage from her Broadway debut in Chicago, Ashlee Simpson traded her black leotard for a more sophisticated yet understatedly sexy ensemble. She wrapped an extra long stand of pearls around her neck, which brought the perfect amount of contrast to her black turtleneck minidress, which she paired with black tights and feminine patent leather heels.
