It was a party that would make Mode's Fey Sommers proud last night at the Mondrian in LA to celebrate today's Ugly Betty Season 1 DVD release. All the fabulous UBers looked great on the red carpet, though I will say that I'm especially fond of Mr. Mabius these days (and my other favorite cuties -- Mark Indelicato and Michael Urie). Yay. I know I've said it a million times, but after devouring season one this summer, I can't wait for season two. And if you need something to get you even more excited for the return of Betty, check out these awesome new promos for the new season, including Mika's special rendition of his song Big Girl for Betty. Ah, so many cliffhangers!
The last we heard of Kevin Federline's TV career was that Super Bowl commercial and his guest appearance on one episode of CSI. Now he is taking another swing at acting, this time with a spot on One Tree Hill. So far we haven't been impressed with Kevin in any of his endeavors, but what do you think - can he make the transition from rapper to actor?
Jessica Simpson showed off those toned arms of hers as she toted adorable Daisy around between takes of Major Movie Star. We haven't seen much of Jess lately, but that doesn't mean she isn't making headlines. There was a nasty little rumor that she was acting like a diva on set, however, her co-star Vivica A. Fox recently jumped to her defense. She said, "Those vicious lies they put out were just that – lies. She was so much of a team player. She was gracious and so down to earth." We're definitely glad to hear that Jess isn't being a brat, especially since her film career hasn't exactly earned her bragging rights just yet.
LC & Audrina were in Toronto last night at the MTV Canada The Hills after show to dish about the latest drama filled episode. As usual, Lauren looked cute in her Nanette Lepore dress that Fab can tell you all about. I'm still undecided on whether LC is too judgmental of her friends' men, or if JustinBobby is really just a huge asshat who happens to be good looking. Do you think LC is overstepping her boundaries? Meanwhile, the bright side of last night's episode was Heidi kind of standing up to Spencer, or at least to his graffiti wall. Though Spencer was none too pleased at the idea of compromise. This week I paid better attention and scored a 4 out of 5 on Geek's The Hills Tech Quiz -- how well can you do?
Jen and Ben went as twinsies in their baseball caps while Violet stuck with her signature crocs as the whole family headed to the doctor's office in LA yesterday. The Afflecks sure do love spending time in the California sunshine, but pretty soon they'll be packing up for fall in New York. The rumors were true, and Jennifer is all set to star alongside Kevin Kline in the Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac. The show opens on November 1st and we're willing to bet that her two biggest fans will be cheering her on from the front row.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
