Soooo, I guess it's fair to say that something is going on between Kate Hudson and Dax Shepard? After being seen a few times around LA together, the two were spotted makin' out at Goldie and Kurt's vacation home in Muskoka, Canada over the weekend. It looks like adorable little Ryder got to come on the vacation, too. We were a little heartbroken when Kate and Owen split back in June, but it looks like she's found herself a suitable blonde funnyman counterpart. Dax is starring in Kate's short film directorial debut for Glamour alongside Kurt Russell -- so he must be getting in good with the family pretty quick. He still seems like an odd choice for Kate, but supposedly he makes her laugh, which is always good to hear.

Claire Danes rocked the LBD as she made her way to TRL in NYC yesterday to promote Stardust. In the movie, she plays the human form of a star that's fallen from the sky. Claire has become quite the star off-screen as well but she's not in the movie business for the celebrity. She said, "I think people confuse fame with validation or love. But fame is not the reward. The reward is getting fulfillment out of doing the thing that you love." Claire's made some sketchy personal choices but at least professionally she transitioned gracefully from teen star to adult actress unlike the youngins in Hollywood today.

Hayden Panettiere was a lucky girl yesterday afternoon. Not only did she do some spending at Marc Jacobs with her momager, but she got to play with an adorable little puppy, too! Awww! Hayden is looking so cute these days, I just hope she stays that way with her 18th birthday right around the corner. Having the steady job on her excellent hit show, Heroes should help keep her in line. Hopefully I'm not being naive in thinking that Hayden will be able to keep that pretty little head on her shoulders.

Bruce Willis got an eyeful of his girlfriend while doing some yachting in Sardinia yesterday. We know Bruce likes younger women and you guys decided that he isn't too old to be an action hero so looks like he is taking advantage of still being seen as sexy. He and George sure seem to have bachelordom down to an art form, although we bet chartering fancy boats helps lure women into their world as well. On a side note, I wonder how he feels about those shots of Rumer as a nude dunce on the set of her new movie.

The Jolie-Pitts landed in Chicago yesterday where Angie will work on filming Wanted. Brad and Angie have their arms full of their adorably sleepy little ones. Maddox is clearly catching up on some much needed zzz's after his big birthday weekend in LA. Angie and Brad pulled out all the stops for Mad's special day, which was an army themed party complete with camouflage, and a Slip-N-Slide, not to mention Brad decked out in a helmet and fatigues. Sounds like the Jolie-Pitts know how to throw a birthday party, which is good because they're going to be celebrating a lot more of those in the upcoming years.

Once again it seems that Brit thought she was having a wild and fun night with friends, but one of them has sold her out for a magazine cover. This week's Us Weekly tells the story of what happened post-music video shoot a few weeks back when Britney held a very drunken private late night party for some of her back-up dancers on the roof of the Downtown Standard.

One of them in particular, a 21-year-old college student, claims that all Britney wanted that night was to "kiss a boy" and he was the chosen one. Supposedly there's a lot more to the scandalous story from naked Truth or Dare antics by the pool to late night back in her hotel room. As usual, Britney sounds less mature than a mother of two little babies should, but mostly she just cannot catch a break in terms of finding anyone to trust these days, can she?

After canceling the last four shows on her Back to Basics tour because of the flu it looks like Christina was feeling better grocery shopping with Jordan in Beverly Hills yesterday. The two looked adorable in their matching Yankees caps (Go Red Sox?), but Xtina kept that still-unconfirmed baby bump hidden under a bulky hoodie. How cute is Jordy giving Christina a big bear hug from behind in the middle of the market?
