Beyonce took a break from her world tour to film a commercial for American Express. The singer sported the trendy high waist and straight hair look in NYC to film her TV spot which will be seen later this year along with a print campaign. B joins the likes of Ellen Degeneres, Tiger Woods and Robert De Niro who have all endorsed the card. Maybe now with her shiny new Amex, Jay-Z will let her pick up the tab on some of their swanky vacations around the globe.
Sarah Jessica Parker continued her Bitten Tour at Mt. Prospect Mall in Chicago on Friday. Even after years of having to smile for the cameras, SJP looks genuinely happy to greet her fans at the autograph session. Judging from her many expressions at the event it looks like she had no problem getting animated with everyone who came out to see her promote her line. Ben Affleck was seen alone in Santa Monica this weekend while the ladies in his life headed out of town. It's amazing how handsome Ben can be with just a little grooming. We bet he's excited about his best friend's success this weekend. The Bourne Ultimatumbroke multiple box office records including surpassing the other Bournes' opening weekends. Looks like we weren't the only ones counting down to Bourne this summer!
Victoria Beckham had a girls' night at Koi with her sister while dapper David dressed up to sign autographs after a Galaxy match in Toronto. Becks may still be sidelined, but he and Posh continue to make their mark in America. Their extremely popular his-and-hers fragrances called "Intimately Beckham" are finally coming to stores stateside. Posh is also showing her appreciation for America already. She said,
"I love the American attitude; it's very positive. I love the fact that everybody here seems very patriotic; I think that's a very strong positive message to send out for children. . . . There's so much for the kids to do. The weather's great. We are having such a wonderful time."
It's great to see that this family is embracing our culture, especially since David was a little wary about leaving Europe. We can't wait to keep seeing what these two have in store for us.
As I mentioned earlier, Ashley Olsen is Marie Clarie's September cover girl -- and she looks gorgeous! While she did wear a little bit of color for the cover shot, the rest of it is her standard black and white fare. I can't complain though because the photos are phenomenal.
