David wore his favorite camo shorts again yesterday for a little shopping excursion with Posh in Beverly Hills. They even bumped into Queen Latifah and stopped to chat while they hit the stores. Now that David's TV show is underway, Victoria is about to get more air time too - she's signed on to guest star on Ugly Betty! We're already big fans of the show, and now we have another reason to tune in. David has already done wonders for ESPN ratings, and now Posh has a chance to shine on another network.
Nicole Richie was sentenced to 4 days in prison at her court hearing this morning. Judging from Nicole's belly in these drawings, the courtroom illustrator thinks she's pregnant, and even though Nicole has not announced anything, TMZ is reporting that she is due in January. We're still not sure what to believe, but we want to know what you think. Do you think Nicole is really pregnant?
One of our favorite funny guys, Andy Samberg, had lots of help from his friends at the premiere of his big movie debut in Hot Rod. In the movie, he plays a wannabe stuntman preparing for the bike jump of his life. Andy's SNL co-stars Seth Meyers and Fred Amisen posed on the red carpet, while his buddy Shia was looking awfully greasy, much to our disappointment. At least Isla, who also stars in the movie, looked absolutely adorable as usual. Even though Sacha didn't walk her down the red carpet, Andy kept it playful with lots of belly rubs. The movie hits theaters on August 3rd, but be sure to check back next week for Buzz's review and interview with Andy Samberg!
Rachel McAdams practices what she preaches. Not only does she have an adorable environmental activism website with her friends, but she's committed to her bike riding through and through. Rachel is at home in Canada rocking out to her iPod, but pretty soon she'll be back on set alongside Eric Bana for The Time Traveler's Wife, a book that is near and dear to many people's hearts (including my own). McAdams is wearing a ring on that ring finger, though I do doubt it means anything since I've accepted that she and Ryan broke up months ago. I'm not holding my breath for that reunion anytime soon, but I am excited to see Rachel back on the big screen this winter.
ABC closed the TCAs with an all star party that included the Cashmere ladies, Big Shot men (more on them soon) and gorgeous newlyweds Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. The happy couple stayed by each others sides as long as they could before reporters attacked and them and asked them about their various shows on the network. My favorites of the night were Dylan McDermott and Angie Harmon who seemed to be having a fun time together even though her husband, Jason Sehorn was there by her side as well. The Private Practice cast came and once again we are excited about Taye Diggs returning to TV. During their panel, Shonda Rhimes exposed lots of secrets for both PP and the upcoming season of Grey's. As OK! Magazine and the rest of the world talk about Britney's questionable behavior, she headed to Vegas yesterday for a vacation with her brother and two boys. Only things didn't go as planned for Brit once she got to Sin City. She checked into the Wynn, but things quickly turned sour when Brit's bodyguard got into an altercation with a photographer who was trying to snap her holding Sean Preston. At one point the fight may have even involved one of them men hitting little SP. Oh no! Brit, her entourage and the paparazzi were all asked to leave the hotel and the group went to the LV Police to file reports.
As if that's not enough Vegas trouble for Britney, rumor has it that Kevin demanded that she bring the boys back to LA because she did not have written legal permission to take them out of state.
Meanwhile, she's still having trust issues with those around her and the latest is that Brit has fired her assistant of three weeks who she originally hired as a replacement for her cousin Alli. Apparently she suspected her assistant of talking badly about her behind her back and neglecting important emails in addition to being the reason behind Britney's recent problems. It's hard to believe that Britney is still being so stubborn and blaming her issues on everyone else around her.
The View is in final negotiations to add Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd to their panel. Wonder if this is going to spark any new interest in the show. - LA Times
Bridget Moynahan's reps claim that her baby is actually not due for a few months. Guess that rumor about giving birth on Gisele's birthday wasn't true at all. - R & M
A man from Arizona was arrested after trying to get $1 million in exchange for not publishing stolen photos of Tom and Katie's wedding in Rome. Blackmailing a Hollywood A-lister usually is not the best idea. - AP
Rumer Willis was caught hanging out in a hotel room in Maryland with a guy who got arrested for marijuana possession later that night. Rumer wasn't arrested, but somehow we don't think Demi and Bruce will be happy to hear about this. - Access Hollywood
The tape of the 911 phone call made by the mother of Lindsay Lohan's ex assistant has been leaked. She sounds just as confused about the story as we are. - TMZ
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
