It's hard to believe it's been two years since the world turned on Tom Cruise. Between his whirlwind romance with Katie, erratic interview behavior and hiding Suri for so long, the biggest movie star in the world quickly went from heartthrob to punching bag. Lately however, the rumors have died down and all we've been seeing is Tom being a great dad to his beautiful daughter, happy with his wife and hard at work on his movies. So we want to know - are you warming up to him again?
Yesterday Lindsay spent her day at the salon and her night out at Les Deux, with a post-club stop for grub at Mel's Drive-In, of course. Again she kept her SCRAM under wraps, but even a monitoring anklet isn't enough to keep rumors away from the newly rehabbed starlet. This morning Page Six ran the most thinly veiled "Blind Item" EVER, "Which hard-partying starlet has figured out a way to get high while wearing an alcohol-monitoring anklet? She was asking where she could score some Ecstasy at a Vegas club the other night." Uh, could that be any less Blind? I'm going to withhold judgement on this one. After all, knowing LL's track record of trust, It was only a matter of time before someone tried to bring her down again.
JT ditched his beloved cardigan collection and threw on some ratty jean shorts for summertime back in NYC where he is expected to oversee the opening of his new restaurant, Southern Hospitality. Even though you guys think Justin and Biel are better off without each other, rumor has it that they're ready to officially show the world that they're an item - at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. This sounds like that lame untrue love triangle rumor from the MTV Movie Awards all over again, but we guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens this time around.
One, Two, Three, All Together Now: Awwwwwwwww! It was a boys day for Ryan and his adorable flaxen haired little Deacon out running errands in LA yesterday. Mini Reese, mini Ryan, mini smashdorable-est little boy of all time. Too cute for words.
Hairspray sure does seem to be taking the world by storm, and we're even starting to catch a bit of the fever. Yesterday the cast debuted their new line of dolls at Toys"R"Us in NYC, then headed to Newark, NJ for yet another premiere and an onstage performance. The cast all looked great, but Amanda and her blonde hair especially stood out this time. This stop on the tour proved to be very special for Queen Latifah, who was proud to be sharing her movie with her home town. She said, "I feel pretty damn good. It's just nice that everybody gets to come out and enjoy it, and the kids get to see all the stars from the movie, and all the local people get to enjoy what we do."
