I haven't watched an episode of The Simpsons in years but the marketing geniuses behind The Simpsons Movie have sure changed my mind about wanting to watch them on the big screen. After converting 7 Elevens into Kwik-E-Marts and naming the official Springfield in Vermont, the latest and greatest gimmick was to go way chic. In this month's Harper's Bazaar, Bart's favorite supermodel, Linda Evangelista, hosts the Simpsons family overseas. They check out all the top designers and even get to play dress up. My two favorites, Chanel and Versace, are below. How smashing is Marge?!? As for Donatella, she must be proud of how nice they were to her. She looks fabulous in cartoon form.
The Afflecks spent the weekend at the farmer's market, which is clearly a family favorite. Jen and Ben tagged along as Violet preferred to take her own set of wheels - they grow up so fast, don't they? Ben doesn't show any signs of shaving, so we guess we'll be watching as that sexy scruff develops into a full blown beard. At least Violet is still looking precious - dimples, pigtails and all! She's also turning into quite a healthy little eater - obviously this girl has a taste for fruits and veggies.
Last night in Milan, models and actresses came out to a special ballet to honor Gianni Versace on the 10th anniversary of his death. The show was called "Thank you, Gianni, with love," and featured costumes designed by Gianni over the years. The ladies dazzled in Versace ranging from vintage on Naomi to their fall collection on Claudia. Alba's attendance seems a bit random, but she looked gorgeous as well. Even 10 years later, Gianni is clearly missed by the fashion world.
Okay, so much David Beckham, but how hot are these pictures? All he has to do is go out to grab a cup of coffee and...SWOON. I could take this moment to ramble more about Victoria's show (on tonight!!) and hundreds of cute interviews, but, shhhhhh. Let's not ruin this Monday Manjoyment Moment with words.
The honeymoon may be over for Eva & Tony, but Rebecca and Jerry are just getting started on theirs at an Inn in Ojai, California. Eva & Tony certainly had the more lavish wedding of the two couples, but there's something to be said about the cozy kind of backyard wedding that Rebecca and Jerry went with. Both brides looked gorgeous of course -- Eva in her luxurious gown and Rebecca with her simple, relaxed dress and half-up hair. What do you think - which wedding would you rather attend?
Before running off to Vegas to celebrate completing rehab (with no-booze-anklet, of course), LL stopped off at Neil George to get her blonde locks touched up. Lindsay's been putting a lot of effort into her cleaned up image, but her pre-rehab days are still haunting the starlet. Rumor has it that a set of naked photos of Linds (taken by Calum Best back when they briefly dated), were stolen from her computer. The best part of the whole thing is LL's publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick's comment, "Anything is possible. I know nothing about it, but her lawyers have been contacted." Heh, no denial there. Well, hopefully for Lindsay's sake those pics remain hidden. Though really, it's kinda not like everyone hasn't seen it all anyway. Oops.
Kate Moss was all smiles leaving the SingStar Take That Extravaganza in London. She took a casual approach to the night, opting for patent leather flats and mixed-matched blacks.
