Jennifer ran into what looks like an old friend in Shaquille O'Neal at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons yesterday afternoon. Awwww, how great would a hug from Shaq be? After putting in some hard time at the gym, Jen was looking ultra fit even though her gorgeous Louboutins are a little worse for the wear. Shaq, a Miami resident, was in town for last night's ESPY Awards fun. Hopefully at the show he had a chance to plug Shaq's Big Challenge, his reality series helping kids deal with childhood obesity. Considering how much his weight fluctuates from off-season to the playoffs every year, he definitely knows a thing or two about fitness. Gotta love the big man.

Penelope may have had some plane troubles a couple of weeks ago, but it looks like she finally made it overseas and landed in Paris. She left her hotel and headed out in the city of love to do a photoshoot for L'Oreal. After that, we're assuming that she'll finally make it to Barcelona to join Scarlett on the set of Woody Allen's new movie. We can't wait to to get a few more details about the film, especially with two such stunning leading ladies.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was happy to pose while filming her latest Maybelline ad outside Pastis in NYC yesterday. Naturally, her hair and make-up looked tre bella, but what I'm really impressed with is her ability to ride that pink pink bike in those high high heels. I suppose that's why she's allowed multiple takes.

After presenting at the ESPY Awards, Kelly Clarkson took her pretty dress to Koi. Kelly's new album has caused a lot of controversy lately, but the pop star is still holding her head high and believing in herself, even in spite of her record label's complaints. My December debuted at #2 on the US Billboard Charts and dropped to #3 this week. Still not too shabby if you ask us. In an upcoming issue of Reader's Digest, Kelly talks about the current state of her career. Here's more:

On the RCA Records haters:
“They hated Miss Independent on my first album. It was No. 1 for six weeks, then they got behind it. They hated Breakaway. The song I wrote that they hated the most was Because of You. I fought and fought for it, it became successful and they finally got behind it. I’m not complaining, I’ll just say no until I get my way, and I did.”
On rumors that Clive Davis didn’t like her new album, My December:
“I just want people to hear it, instead of 100-year old executives making decisions on what’s good for pop radio. It’s people my age who listen to it. My gut hasn’t been wrong yet, so why wouldn’t I continue to follow it?”
Sounds like Kelly has plenty of faith in herself and a good head on her shoulders. We just hope that she's able to prove herself again; we wouldn't want this to be the December of her career.

Yesterday evening's Serpentine Gallery Summer Party 2007 in London brought out some beautiful faces and gorgeous summer dresses. Thandie looked especially pretty, but then again, she always does. I always adore seeing Josh/Pacey and his ever-fabulous girlfriend, Diane Kruger. Plus, who doesn't love seeing Pierce Brosnan? No one! No one doesn't love Pierce! I wonder if Kim Cattrall leaked any more info on that Sex and the City movie, because that's something she could talk my ear off about with no complaints. Don't you just love seeing such Summer-y parties? Makes me want to throw on a white dress and get outdoors.

Hollywood got a whole lot more athletic at last night's ESPY Awards, and the fun and glamor certainly didn't stop at the red carpet. Jimmy Kimmel and LeBron James hosted the evening, while the stage held court for some interesting pairings - Carmen and Shaun White? Josh Duhamel and Maria Sharapova? Actually kinda hot. The San Diego Chargers' LaDainian Tomlinson and University of Arizona Softball's Taryn Mowatt took home the Male and Female Athletes of the year. It's always fun to see our favorite athletes off the field in into some fancy wear, right?

The show doesn't air on ESPN until Sunday, but check out a full list of winners here. To see more pics from the show including Winner of Best Male Athlete, LaDainian Tomlinson, Serena Williams, Regina King, TI, James Blake, Amanda Beard, Vince Young and lots, lots more just read more
