Justin may be done with his UK tour, but he's still got some work to do before bringing his SexyBack stateside. Final order of UK business, finishing up in the recording studio with Madonna. This time they had a few extra hands on deck including his right hand beatmaker Timbaland and Keisha Buchanan. No Gogol Bordello in sight this time. Keisha is a new one for us - apparently she's the lead singer of British Girl Group called the Sugababes. If JT, Timbaland & Madonna are into her, she's gotta be excellent. I've been hot and cold with JT recently, but one thing's for sure -- this collaboration is going to be sick.
Hilary and Haylie Duff, together as usual, headed to the Roosevelt Hotel for an ESPY awards pre-party last night. Hilary is definitely more of a girly girl than the sporty type, but her great bikini body makes it obvious that she gets plenty of exercise. Just because Hilary looks amazing now, doesn't mean that she didn't struggle with weight issues in the past. She admitted that she obsessed over her size until Haylie finally stepped in. Hilary said, “She [Haylie] said, ‘Why are you being so strict with yourself?' It was like an awakening. I don’t want to be so skinny that people are like, Oh my god, she’s lost a lot of weight.”
Sounds like Hilary is lucky to have a great sister in Haylie - and it's really nice to hear about stars actually being concerned about looking too skinny for a change. More of the girls at the party so read more
Fergie was looking thankfully minimalist (for her) hanging out in London after Live Earth last weekend, though it looks like girlfriend may have had a bit too many celebratory cocktails. I can imagine she needs a few, however, before getting on the latest interior decoration in the house she shares with hot Josh. Fergie's man apparently had a stripper pole installed in their bedroom, but his private dancer is too shy to get on the pole until she takes some lessons. Fergalicious never struck me as the bashful type, but I guess Sheila Kelley has her newest S-Factor student. Josh is a lucky boy, though I can also imagine there are quite a few women out there who wouldn't think twice before whipping out their best moves for Josh.
Rodeo Drive got a new fancy jewelry store to attract celebrities to their big grand opening. Tara Reid continues to attempt to dress more age appropriate but as pretty as her baby blue eyes are, she is still striking out. Brooke Shields posed with Robert Procop who helped bring the London based jeweler famous for creating Princess Di's engagement ring to America. Rachel Zoe was there but she doesn't seem to be wearing any of her own summer must haves at this event. Ugly Betty star, Eric Mabius walked the red carpet and we wish we were there to ask him Buzz's 5 questions about Ugly Betty for the fall.
I didn't think it could get any hotter than what we saw of the Beckhams in W Magazine, but here are some more shots from the photoshoot. And...It Just Got Way Hotter. Interestingly enough, these photos were taken by Steven Klein, the same man who shot that controversial spread of Brad and Angelina for W two years ago. My god, they're smokin' together. I feel like I'm peeking into their intimate moments! Not only that, but inside the magazine they are totally endearing and cute. Love them. Here's highlights:
Victoria on changing America's opinion of her:“I think people are really going to see me for the first time. I think they have this impression that I’m this miserable cow who doesn’t smile. But I’m actually quite the opposite. When you’re out there, they’re trying to get pictures up your shirt, down your top. With all the flashes, it’s as much as you can do to just find your car. I’m going to try and smile more for America.”
Victoria on picking her $22 Million house in LA:“I had quite a lot of things to get my head around. What was the nicest area? I was very much like, ‘Okay, the seaside is down there, training is there, school is there, and I think Barneys is over there.’ I kind of did it like that…we didn’t want anything too huge, too fancy, too ostentatious…something quite practical for the kids. It’s a light, happy house, with a great corridor the kids are going to love when they are roller-skating.”
David on why they don't have a live in staff:“We like to lock the doors at night and wander around naked.”
David on first seeing Victoria in a Spice Girls Video:“I turned around to Gary (his teammate) and said, ‘That one there, that’s the girl I’m going to marry.’”

Yesterday we told you that Nicole's request for a continuance was denied, but that decision has already been reversed and the court date has been pushed back to August 16. This turnaround seems a little fast in our opinion, especially since the date is now 11 days later than Nicole had originally asked for. We know that situations with court dates and legal matters are often changing on a day-to-day basis, but do you think Nicole is already getting special treatment?
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
