Yesterday was quite the exciting day in celebrity baby land. First off, we had the interesting confirmation of Nicole Richie's baby Madden, and we wrapped up the eve of America's birthday with confirmation on the other most speculated pregnancy in Hollywood - Christina Aguilera. We're having mixed feelings on the subject, but we want to know - which pregnancy were you more surprised by?
Paris looked happily well rested at LAX yesterday after returning from her post-rehab vacation in Hawaii. Looks like she picked up some light reading for the plane - the special Africa issue of Vanity Fair. Of course we have no idea whether or not Paris actually read the magazine and this isn't the first time we've seen her with what seems to be strategic placed reading material. However, Paris did say that after prison she plans on being a new person who is ready to give back to the community, and taking a cue from the celebs that have lead by example wouldn't be a bad place to start.
Post 21st Birthday Party on the beach, Lindsay Lohan left her new apartment complex, Promises Rehab Center, to do a little shopping in Malibu yesterday. I guess Promises encourages Miss Lohan's recent excursions out of the program to hang out with her friends? Honestly though, who knows what their plan is (especially since she extended her stay) -- just happy to see her looking happier and healthier.
While Pete Doherty was looking like his usual disheveled self leaving a courthouse in London yesterday, he did actually do something decent - he plead guilty to the many charges of drug possession and DUIs that brought him to court in the first place. He also confirmed that he and Kate have split and blamed his troubled past on "personal problems." Apparently Kate changed all her locks and refused to speak to him after the latest cheating scandal. We wish Pete could finally get his act together because not only is it old writing about how sick he is, but also Kate was head over heels in love. At this point she's definitely given him one too many chances so we hope he never gets a set of the new keys.
Diddy threw a little party for himself in London last night in honor of his new fragrance, "Unforgivable." He took the metallic trend a bit too far with his very gold jacket. Perhaps he was trying to impress his guests like Lily Allen and Pharrell. Guess the princes couldn't make it this time around, but maybe they got their fill of Diddy the other night at the after party for the Concert for Diana.
