While we're still waiting for Paris' big post-jail interview and Lindsay is keeping pretty quiet n' healthy in rehab, it's nice to see some of our less scandalous starlets like Kate looking cute out and about in LA. Sigh, I guess she's great even without that precious little boyfriend of hers -- especially since she's got her doggie.
Shia may not be known for his comedic talent, but that obviously didn't prevent him from hamming it up on TRL yesterday. As much as these pictures make us cringe just a little, it isn't entirely his fault - he was challenged to act out a love scene with a tennis ball. Regardless of what or whom he's kissing off camera, Shia's still forging ahead on his path to superstardom. He just signed on for Eagle Eye, a thriller that will be directed by D.J. Caruso, who did Disturbia. Based on Disturbia's surprising success, this could be yet another promising project for Mr. LaBeouf, and perhaps in the meantime he can try to find a lucky lady to practice his kissing scenes with.
Well, it's good to see Britney (and Allie, obvs) out doing presumably responsible family things, like food shopping, even if she's only tenuously contained in that top while she does it. She still seems completely unable to wear both a proper shirt and a bra at the same time, but I do prefer this over the sheer top option. Speaking of her little ones, we've gotten to see a good amount of Britney with her boys recently and have even been hearing rumors that she was looking to file a restraining order against her mom for seeing SP and JJ during their time with Kevin. Meanwhile K-Fed's got some beef of his own with his ex. According to Us, "He thinks she’s mentally unstable and too young to be a mom,” and that he "expects full custody of his children one day." Ugh, I really hope these two can keep things civil.
Double winner Jennifer Hudson kicked off the BET Awards last night with a show stopping performance of And I am Telling You with Jennifer Holiday. Beyonce took a break from her vacation in the French Riviera to pick up an award for Best Female R&B Artist. She also literally shined in her insane Balengiaca gear to perform Get Me Bodied last night. What do you think about her sci-fi getup - love it or hate it? Oh look! Mary-Kate and Ashley grabbed a little twintime at Courteney Cox's favorite restaurant ever, Il Sole, last night. I wonder if they dished all the hot gossip about their 21st Birthday last week! For once, Ashley played the shy one while MK took the wheel. Yay. And crazy legwear on Mary-Kate -- is that a part of her shoes? Exciting stuff. Speaking of my favorite Michelle Tanners, did you check out Buzz's Full House recast? I think little Pearl could totally nail the trademark Olsen 'tude that made them stars.
