Mary-Kate looked delightfully sassy sneaking out of the Malibu home she shares with Ashley Monday morning in her slingbacks and favorite oversized sweater (who needs pants?) trailed by her boyfriend Max Snow. Meanwhile, Ashley flashed the elusive Olsen smile leaving the same house a little later in the morning. The girls were probably still recovering from their 21st Birthday Party on Saturday night. They played host to 150 friends and family, including the cast and crew of Full House (awwwwww), Joaquin Phoenix, Kirsten Dunst and Olivier Martinez.
Apparently, MK spent the night making out with Max and swimming in her clothes while Ash took the job of thanking the guests and praising her twin saying, "No one could understand me the way you do. Nobody could relate to me the way you do. In fact no one could even tolerate me the way you do." It's great to hear that the girls, who have spent their whole lives on screen together, are still totally BFF.
While Katie Holmes is off having some fun in the sun in Cannes, Maggie Gyllenhaal has been hard at work to fill Katie's shoes as Rachel Dawes in The Dark Knight. One fan was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Maggie and Aaron Eckhart on the movie set in Chicago. Anthony Michael Hall, who played the lovably geeky Brian in The Breakfast Club also just signed on to the movie, but his part is top secret. We have to say that it's looking like Maggie is making a pretty easy transition into Katie's role. Now if only we could get a peek at yummy Christian Bale in the batsuit.
Fergie showed off her stems again at Butter in NYC last night after stopping by TRL yesterday. She seems a bit lonely without Josh, who's been busy promoting Transformers for the past few weeks. Even if Fergie isn't with him, Josh is still gushing about her star power, their relationship, and the home they just bought together. Here's more:
"She's a real total star. I'm more subdued than that. I'd rather sneak up on people. But that's what makes us work. We have similar fundamental values. We both grew up in similar families. She's just got a great soul."
On the house they just bought together: "A girl like Fergie comes with stuff — a lot of stuff... And there just wasn't enough room for the stuff."
Hearing Josh being all cute about Fergie only makes him hotter in our eyes. Hopefully this busy couple will be able to take a break soon to enjoy their new house and spend some more time together.
Yay, how cute is the premiere of Broken English!? Sorry, sometimes I get a little excited about Parker Posey, Sofia Coppola, and Drea de Matteo -- so when they're all together it's pretty awesome. The movie they're out to celebrate looks pretty seriously precious and funny and endearing, too. Everything about this (other than Drea's dress, but she's pregnant, so she gets a bye) just makes me feel all fuzzy and indie-loving. And I mean that in the best way possible.
Tom and Katie took on some pre and post-beach wardrobe changes during their stint in France this week, but still managed to stay color coordinated. Suri's mom and dad got fancied up in khaki for what we can only assume was the wedding event they were there to attend. Katie's dress is a bit more age appropriate than her swimsuit, and it looks like she decided to let her fabulous Louboutin heels dry off. Seriously, what was she thinking wearing those pieces of art on the beach?
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
