Apparently we're not the only ones excited he looks clean shaven and gorgeous again thanks to his latest role in Night Watch. Keanu had a little trouble getting through his lunch yesterday with his friend at the Beverly Wilshire. Now that he's free of his beard and homeless man clothes his fans can actually recognize him but they also interrupted his lunch! Seems as if Keanu was a nice guy through it all.
I'm not exactly sure what Jenny McCarthy's deal is with all the swimming in her clothes (this long dress seems particularly unwieldy for the ocean), but Jim doesn't seem much to mind. In fact, Jim doesn't seem to care about much of anything other than loving his lady on the beach in Hawaii. I just love these two and how smitten they seem with each other...and I'm sure each other's fart jokes.
Jessica Simpson was still ear-to-ear smiles taking her hat collection all over LA this week. One day she was showing off her love for the Lakers and the next it was all about Stanford (really, Jessica? Really?) for the blonde. Jessica has been super duper casual these days, which is apparently her steez when it comes to post break-up wear. Hey, at least this time she's putting on her happy face.
Dave got people chuckling last night with his Top 10 Signs Paris Isn't Doing Well in Prison, but many don't think it's a laughing matter, especially since she was released so early. Evidently they let her go on account of her fragile mental state but others think she was given preferential treatment. What do you think -- was Paris let off easy?
UPDATE - on behalf of Paris, her attorney has issued the following statement: "I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."
Last night Nicole Richie braved Letterman by herself, since her scheduled co-guest Paris was enjoying suffering through her last night in jail. On the show, Nicole talked about her own possible trek to the big house, "I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, of course. I'm scared also but I'm willing to face whatever consequences come my way and I take responsibility for what I've done." Sounds like at least one starlet has done her PR homework. The interview was actually pretty funny, especially considering Dave will not let the jail thing go AT ALL. Fortunately, Nicole can hold her own under fire. Check out the whole video after the jump.
Sarah Jessica proved today that fashion doesn't have to come with a big price tag. She opened the doors at Steve and Barry's to a hoard of shoppers wanting to get their hands on her new clothing line Bitten, which launched today. That isn't all she has going on. She's finally coming clean about the Sex and the City movie! Here's more:
"I'm not being cagey for once in saying it might happen," she says. "As far as I know all the actresses would love to be together again and do this movie."
But she knows it will take a lot of work for it to happen. "This is a very complicated puzzle to put back," she says. "We have to replicate sets that are gone, re-create apartments and everybody has to feel good about why they're there."
Just like everyone else, we think the film is long overdue! Hopefully the ladies will be able to pull it off. Can't wait to see Carrie and the ladies reunited in the city once again!
