As you may have heard, Paris Hilton was let out of jail this morning and "reassigned" to LA's "community based alternatives to custody's electronic monitoring program." Meaning she has her ankle bracelet and will be under house arrest for the next 40 days. Click here to check out the official press release explaining the details of her reassignment. I would assume this means no leaving under any circumstances, but considering how this punishment has gone so far, who knows!

Victoria was looking super tiny as usual while out and about in London the other day. The mother of three has openly discussed being accused of an eating disorder but credits her slim figure to healthy eating including lots of fish, vegetables and fruit. However, recently she was too shy to try on clothes while shopping at Chanel in LA. Perhaps it was for the cameras for her reality TV show but it was reported that “She said she felt really full and if something didn’t fit, it would be embarrassing.” If anything, we bet that tiny woman needs her clothes taken in, but I can understand having an off day when shopping and not wanting to try on clothes -- we've all been there.
Early this morning Paris Hilton was released from jail after serving only 3 of her 23 day sentence. According to TMZ, the deal was finalized yesterday and the LA County Sheriff's Department will hold a news conference to discuss the release sometime this morning. She checked herself into the facility on Sunday evening, two days before she was mandated. Stay tuned for updates...
Update: The press conference is going on now. According to LA Sheriff Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore, Paris will be confined to her home for the next 40 days. She will be forced to wear an ankle bracelet, similar to the one Martha Stewart wore during her house arrest. Apparently the decision was made based on discussions with her medical staff, but the spokesperson would not discuss the medical issue "due to confidentiality." My assumption is it has something to do with her mental state, as her psychiatrist was in to visit her every day.
Sick of them yet? If you couldn't guess from Ellen Barkin's dress, the Ocean's 13 cast were out in Vegas last night to celebrate yet another premiere of the movie. This one, which served to open the film festival CineVegas, was one of their series of events to benefit Not On Our Watch, an organization that gives to currently existing Darfur Efforts. In Cannes they were able to scrape together $9.2 Million to help relief efforts in the area so hopefully last night (combined with the LA events earlier in the week) was similarly successful! There are very few things hotter than seeing the Ocean's boys dressed to the nines, and one of them is hearing about all the wonderful work they do. Now I just have to see the actual movie!
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
