Here's a little Monday Old-Timey Manjoyment for all you Leo fans out there. Mr. DiCaprio was looking pretty dapper sans cigarette on the set of Revolutionary Road over the weekend. Unfortunately, the filming kept him from joining his Departed costar, Jack, at the MTV Movie Awards (you know, since he totally would have been there otherwise), but lucky for us we've got ourselves a little Leo action anyway. Hopefully he's only rocking that hat for the role -- I don't want him getting any Brad-Pitt-Level Fedora Obsession ideas or anything.
As far as awards shows go, the MTV Movie Awards provided far less fashion disasters than we've seen in the past and Cameron and Jessica Alba are neck in neck for the Best Dressed title. That being said, there were still a few ladies who seem to have missed the mark on the pink carpet this year. What do you think - who was the worst dressed at the awards?
MK was a little scattered with the accessories and giant sweater-ness things, but kept it fabulous in her Louboutins teetering around LA early in the weekend. Who needs pants? Not Mary-Kate! She was off to NYC with Ash (more on that later) by Sunday night, but I'm sure she'll be back in LA soon enough. She is a working girl these days, after all. We may have to pry the haphazard-shabby-chic look out of MK's cold dead hands, but her hair looks healthy-er! Which is a very clear baby step in the right direction for Mary-Kate. Golf claps.
Lindsay's mom must be too busy trying to score her own TV deal to visit her daughter in rehab. Dina Lohan is supposedly this close to having her own show on E! called Mom-ager where she will pimp out her other two young kids, Ali and Cody in hopes of turning them into big huge unstable stars like Lindsay. Speaking of LL she obviously skipped out on the MTV Movie Awards last night but it looks like a friendly visit from her bodyguard this weekend kept her in good spirits. As for that birthday party, the promoter Mike Heller says it's still in the works. Page Six reports, "[Heller] is treating her birthday like a carnival - he's selling tickets to the public and insists on telling media outlets that the party is still on and speaking for her. Her lawyers are thinking of getting an injunction against him." Heller says of course this is all untrue and it's LL who wants the party to go on. Stay tuned but hopefully Dina will wake up and be a mother and tell her she should do something more intimate with her real friends.
Just in time for Angelina's 32nd Birthday today, the Jolie-Pitts were all together and hopping on their plane in Prague. How cute are all the little ones (okay, their backs) in their little pajamas?! Who knows where the clan was off to for the big B-Day celebration, but hopefully somewhere along the way Brad and Angie arranged for a little alone time. As Angie recently told Marie Claire, precious Mommy/Daddy moments are hard to come by these days, "Everybody needs individual time. Shiloh has our attention when the others are at school. Mad stays up the latest, so he gets the nighttime. During the day, I'll go for a walk or do something specific with Pax or Z...We're working on it; we're working on it. Right now, we're not great about Mommy-and-Daddy time." Hey, maybe when Angelina finally takes that year off (for reals this time) Brad & Angie Romance Time will be easier to come by.
MTV wasn't the only one having an awards show this weekend. On Friday night, the ALMA (American Latino Media Arts) Awards took place to honor achievements by Hispanic artists in Hollywood. Ugly Betty was the big winner with multiple wins including America Ferrera for best actress and Ana Ortiz for best supporting actress. A super pregnant Salma Hayek was there to cheer on her Ugly Betty stars while Jessica Alba, who is everywhere these days promoting the Fantastic Four, presented an award. Eva Longoria was the executive producer as well as the host with for the evening. She had quite a few wardrobe changes and even danced with her good friend Mario Lopez. The ceremony airs June 5th on ABC.
A mug shot of Paris from her September DUI (right) was accidentally released to TMZ this morning instead of the one taken of her last night (left) which they meant to give out. Obviously she kept her MTV Movie Awards hair for her booking pic -- she didn't pay all that money to be styled for nothing! - TMZ
