Fresh off her weekend trip to Mexico and covering up the worst of her extensions, Britney stopped by a drugstore in LA on Monday. She looked pretty strikingly normal (for Brit) which is both reassuring and abnormal for the never-ever-boring pop star. It would be beyond interesting to get a glimpse inside Britney's world these days, but unfortunately that is going to have to wait as Lynne Spears has canceled her scheduled appearance on The View this Wednesday. I wonder if Brit-Brit had anything to do with that? Wouldn't be surprised.
Beyonce went shopping with her family in London this weekend including her adorable nephew Daniel. While we know Bey doesn't want her own kids anytime soon she sure looks like a natural. Some reports are even saying she is engaged but we'll wait until something official is announced. In the meantime, she's busy dancing the night away. Rumor has it she got pretty crazy recently at a party in London. She apparently demanded two fans be installed to keep her cool as she danced on tables to her own music and old school Salt-N-Pepa. It's nice to know she's ready to perform even when she has the night off!
With help from Nadja Swarovski, MK and Ash hosted a par-tay for the nominees and honorees of The 2007 CFDA Fashion Awards in NYC on Saturday night. Okay, obviously MK is a skinny minnie, but come on, she looks pretty cute here. Come on, a little sultry? Just a touch? As for Ashley, she continued her upwards trend of dressing great for the red (or gray, whatever) carpet. Who knows, maybe next year someone will be throwing the CFDA Fashion Awards Nominees Party for the little Olsen twinsies and their fashion-designing-selves! Major yays!
Sarah Jessica Parker looked effortlessly fabulous as she arrived at her hotel in London this weekend. Even though we've seen more of SJP as a designer lately, it's still hard to separate her from her Sex and the City days. As the fashionista gears up to launch her line this week, we are still waiting to hear final word on the SatC movie. Apparently we're not the only ones still asking about her Carrie Bradshaw days. People asked what SatC taught her about fashion and SJP's response was, "That there shouldn't be rules! I always believed in hard-core aesthetic rules – 'No white after Labor Day.' And I matched, because I thought that was ladylike. I matched my clothes my whole life – at least until [costume designer] Pat Field got ahold of me!" Looks like she is still matching but she sure knows how to pull it off.
After the MTV Movie Awards, Fergie and Josh opted for a quiet dinner in Brentwood instead of a big after party. Quality time is hard to find these days for the couple since Fergie has been busy on tour. Josh told Extra at the show, “She’s just gone all summer, so I go see her. That’s our vacation… I’m like a little groupie every once in while.” There's no doubt we think Josh is one of the sexiest men and our feelings for Fergie have changed over the past few months making us really like these two together. We've almost forgotten the days we didn't think she deserved him and if he's so fond of her well then she must be Fergalicious!
Nicky Hilton makes dressing for transition weather look so easy! Waiting for her car at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, she wore a trendy and chic ensemble consisting of a gray blazer, a simple black tank, denim cut offs and platform booties.
