Gwyneth Paltrow and her mom Blythe Danner took cutie pie Apple out for some miniature golf in LA this week. Gwyneth is filming Ironman in LA and has actually been living in the Santa Monica home she grew up in, which Blythe sold for $8.6 million a while back. Apparently she was very upset when her mom sold the house. Lucky for Gwyn, she was recently able to rent the house from the new owner and even had Apple's third birthday party there. Sounds like Gwyneth found a way forgive her mom and still enjoy her old home even if it is temporary.
Usually smoking hot Brad looked a little silly while taking a break from filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button yesterday, but I suppose the wardrobe can't be held against him. He may be stuck working in Montreal while his kiddies and Angie are back in Prague, but it sounds like the family had a great time over the weekend celebrating Shiloh's birthday. There were balloons (thrilling stuff people)! It's no surprise they had a blast because according to Us, Brad can make a fun time just about anywhere. "One time, when the kids were bored, [Pitt] had them all throwing empty pizza boxes as Frisbees,” says a source. “Obviously, Shiloh was too young to join in, but you could hear her laughing.” Yup, just another glimpse into the life of the rich and famous.
Britney was making quite the statement with her hat and ring while driving around in LA yesterday. The past few day's Brit has been looking and sounding healthier, but evidently below the surface some of her old habits are still around. Rumor has it that she booked a room at the Mondrian for Sunday night, but had to be carried out of the hotel and brought home after she was found vomiting in the bathroom at Sky Bar. A source says she was telling the staff, "I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Things aren’t going well for me at the moment.” Oh, Britney. These aren't the first post-rehab drinking rumors, but, call us naive, we're still really hoping they aren't true!
Christina looked pretty happy to have a baby in her arms at a Memorial Day party in Beverly Hills this weekend. She's been very busy lately with her tour and spending time with her hubby Jordan, but we want to know - do you think Christina should become a mom anytime soon?
After a long weekend of parties and friends dropping like flies, Nicole stopped off for a little mani/pedi action in Beverly Hills. Unfortunately Nicole got in a little trouble for leaving her car illegally parked outside the nail salon. It was obviously no sweat off Nic's back, though, as she didn't budge when the cop came in to talk to her about the situation. What's a little ticket to a Hollywood starlet? Also, this morning, Nicole went on Seacrest's morning show to talk a little about Paris and a little about that controversial party invite.Here are highlights:
On Paris' Jail Time: “Of course [Paris] is” scared. [Paris was treated] really unfair. I don’t know if she necessarily could have done anything to stop that. I think sometimes people just get exploited and I hope that doesn’t happen to me … I don’t think there’s anything I can do to stop that.”
On the party invite: "I do it for every time, for every single holiday … I don’t’ even know what to say about it, especially someone like me, I’m not a serious person at all and no one thinks I am, so I’m really confused why people think [it is serious].”
While I doubt most people think that Nicole was really planning on having a scale at the door, I still don't think the invite was in particularly good taste. As for her day in court for her DUI? It's coming up June 8, so I guess we'll get to see whether Paris' sentence (or "exploitation") has set any sort of precedent after all. My guess though, Nicole won't be serving any sort of hard time.
Victoria Beckham was in all black (save her bright red shoes, yellow ribbon and super blonde hair) on her way to rack up some more frequent flier miles at Heathrow yesterday. No word on where she was headed, but in all likelihood she is on her way back to LA to get back to work on moving...and her reality show. Unfortunately, rumor has it that David may not share Posh's enthusiasm for all things LA. According to the Daily Mail, "David hasn't yet shown much enthusiasm about coming here...He says he wants a quiet life. He is supportive of her career - but he hates it when she gets ambitious. Victoria's argument is that she never got the chance to peak in her career." Naturally, The Victoria Beckham Show will be that peak. Heh. Seriously though, I hope none of this will get in the way of their moving stateside. We've been waiting too long for them to back out now.
