Finally the premiere we've all been waiting for and the most pleasant surprise of them all - Angie is wearing a bright color! After doing some good for the world (and one incredibly lucky lady) last night at the amfAR's benefit, the Ocean's men were ready for something a little lighter. Angelina showed off her sunnier side in that gorgeous yellow dress. Of course none of the cast is pretending that Ocean's Thirteen can compete with the art house films at Cannes but that's why it isn't in the competition. The guys just wanted to have fun with it. Joshy took a break from filming August in NYC to work a little on his fitness while still refusing to part from those wayfarers. I'm happy to report that Josh is looking pretty hot these days, but is that a return of the sick skinny 'stache I see? Blech. Well, I hope Penelope doesn't mind. Britney is back in LA after her wild weekend in Miami, and already hitting up Millennium Dance Studio, SP in tow. This outfit may not "match" per se and the Axl Rose/Nicole Richie head scarf is certainly an interesting choice, but Britney looks happy...and that is a good thing. As for why she's still not wearing a bra, despite the fact that she is leaving dance class? It's Britney. No use in trying to reason. At least she's letting the feet breathe outside of those heinous boots. As always, baby steps.
Sarah Jessica Parker launched her Bitten line in NYC last night with the support of designer friends like Narcisco Rodriguez who joined her on the black carpet. The collection, which is being sold exclusively at Steve & Barry's will be available June 7th. From what we've seen so far, it's made up mostly of casual wear (to check it out click here). Sarah says she wanted a line that was affordable without looking trashy. “There’s not going to be any inappropriate midriff showing, regardless of your age,” SJP said. “I feel like, as a culture, we have seen enough damage done by it.” Hilarious! I guess Britney wont be wearing her clothes anytime soon.
Last November, when Season 2 of Weeds finished, I wasn't sure that I had the mental capacity to wait until Season 3 to find out what happens. It's literally one of the best things to ever happen to TV (is that a glowing enough endorsement?) and the cliffhanger has been on my mind for the past 7 months. With this morning's news that Mary-Kate Olsen will be guest starring in Season 3 (!!!!!!!), I literally couldn't be more excited for Weeds to return August 13.
Yay! MK has a job! She will be playing Tara, a devout Christian high school student and Silas' new love interest. She is scheduled to appear in 10 of the Season's 15 episodes. So I presume this will be more of a speaking role than, say, her part in Factory Girl. Best. News. Ever.
There will be so much Olsen teeth. And presumably she will be dressed in normal teenage clothing! Obvie, this is amazing news. I'm so proud of little M-K. All growed up (and playing a 17-year-old)!
