As suspected, rumors of rehab lured Nicole out of seclusion (or relaxation, as the case may be) to have a nice cheery little photo op out and about. Yesterday, we saw some pics of Nic supposedly taken within the past week, but with no specific date or time. These, however, are Nicole, full smile, out grabbing sushi and a manicure in LA with her assistant on Wednesday afternoon. So there, you have it, Nicole is out and about, continues to get therapy at the center where she received in-house treatment years ago, and may or may not have spent some nights there last week. Hmmm, something tells me we still haven't heard the last of this story.

Mischa got glam at amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS event at Cannes last night. She may not have a film at the festival but she's doing a great job of promoting herself and her red carpet style. She's definitely a darling of the fashion world and has no problem admitting that she's a total clotheshorse. This week in The Times UK she talks about her personal style and even admits she'd rather dress her dogs than herself. Here's more:
- On becoming a fashion icon:
I had absolutely no idea how much attention my clothes and I would get when I first started in The OC; it was phenomenal. Knowing I could be photographed by the paparazzi at any time while I’m hanging out in New York doesn’t actually make me dress differently or wear more make-up, although I do take routes where I’m less likely to be photographed. Also, I’m not that worried about being caught slobbing out because I’m not a sweat-pants and Uggs kinda girl.
- Her fashion pet peeve:
[P]eople who wear the same label head to toe like a uniform; or really blatant logos all over their clothes.
- Her favorite labels:
Chloé and Chanel, who have always been very good to me for red carpet events, and Balenciaga. I also love Zac Posen and Matthew Williamson, and since I have become friends with them they have made me clothes.

The beautiful ladies graced the red carpet at last night's amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS Benefit in Cannes, but inside the event was where the boys came out. In fact, the undeniably handsome and oh-so-generous George Clooney even auctioned off a kiss to benefit the cause. I'm not sure what the winning bid was...but how seriously lucky (and probably rich) is that lady?!? Speaking of very fortunate women, Ellen Barkin looked great, as usual, up on stage next to her Ocean's 13 co-stars. Hopefully all the Ocean's yumness (and their lady friends) will be out for the big premiere later today. Highlight of the festival much?

Stars like Eva Mendes, Kylie Minogue and Kerry Washington (love or hate her look?) took a little time out of their movie viewing schedules to attend amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS Benefit last night at Cannes. Just like last year Sharon Stone and Harvey Weinstein hosted the event which also featured a special performance by Dita Von Teese. It's so great that celebs are willing to take a break from their wild Cannes parties to focus on such a great cause.

After watching 2 hours of filler my TiVo ended when it should have but stupid ass American Idol kept going. Can you feel my frustration? It's not like I didn't know Jordin was going to win, but I wanted to actually see the reaction and hear her sing and all that exciting crap that goes into watching and investing in an entire season. I am officially mad at FOX. If they didn't have so much BS filler I could have actually heard Simon's reaction.
As for the rest of the show - the only highlight worth mentioning was Carrie Underwood. I think it's great she is so successful and still thanks Idol for everything. Other than that, was Gwen lipsynching? Do you agree with the winner? Thankfully, Lost was so good it more than made up for FOX's sh*tty mistake. Jessica Simpson showed off her breasts blonder hair yesterday while shopping at Barneys in NYC. We're still waiting to hear whether she and John are off or on again. Seems like they're trying to figure that one out themselves. Until then, a little retail therapy is hopefully easing Jess' pain.
