Jessica Biel is back in LA, surely dishing to her friend and puppies about her steamy (but short) vacation with JT in the UK earlier in the week. First things first, she had to get those dogs out on a walk, but why not bring a girlfriend? Clearly, there was gossiping to be done. I wonder if she could have used some help, say from a handy flow chart, to explain the many intricacies of her current love life?
America Ferrera was looking slimmer than her Ugly Betty character while arriving for Regis & Kelly this week. Hopefully she won't lose too much weight. Part of what we love about Ugly Betty is that she doesn't feel she has to be a size 2. The season finale of the show was a real downer considering it's a comedy! What's with all these season finales making me cry? For more on last night's episode including obvious spoilers, click here.
Fox rounded out the week of Upfronts with their party to announce the new fall schedule. Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose's (from Six Feet Under, the finale of which I have still not recovered) new show, The Return of Jezebel James, does not look nearly as funny as it should considering the cast, but I have hope. Rashida Jones from The Office was also there to introduce her new pilot, which is expected to be a midseason replacement. We'll see what that means for her in Scranton (more on that later). The hilarious Spike Feresten was also around to celebrate his "TalkShow." Happy it's renewed, but Fox should really give it a better timeslot! Check out clips from a bunch of the new shows here! Whee!
T.R. Knight celebrated the season finale of Grey's by dying his hair a ridiculous shade of red. I don't want to ruin the episode for those of you who have yet to see it but I was crying like a baby last night. As angry as I had been at George for the past few episodes for cheating on Callie with the annoying Izzie, I was back to loving George and feeling sorry for him. Clearly the show is leaving us hanging on his return but the people they alluded to leaving will upset me more. The bottom line with this show is the off set drama, or immediate cockiness of the characters each season, has made me hate everything about everyone with one exception - Patrick Dempsey. He's the talented good guy who deserves fame and yet remains humble. Love him! Also surprisingly, jerk Alex Karev has officially found a soft spot in my heart. Luke Wilson stopped by the David Letterman Show to promote his new movie, The Wendell Baker Story. We loved Luke back in the day, but lately he's been picking some interesting - or should we say, not so interesting - projects. We want to know - are you still a Luke Wilson fan?
Reese and Ryan seem to have started to move on with their separate lives, but they do still share one very important common thread - those adorable kids, Deacon and Ava. The couple is currently in the process of settling their divorce and Ryan has complied with all of Reese's requests, asking only for joint custody of their kids. It's obvious that both Reese and Ryan are fully devoted to their little ones; Ryan has even talked about how Ava has helped him through his separation. We still wish this couple never split in the first place, but at least they are keeping things civil and making sure their kids are their #1 priority.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
