Beyonce got to reap the benefits of touring Europe by doing a little shopping in Paris this week. We're so used to seeing B performing we almost forgot what she looked like in candid photos. Regardless of how she looks off stage, her tour has obviously been a success - she's just been nominated for six awards at the 2007 BET Awards. Beyonce won't be back in the states until after the awards in late June, so it looks like we'll have to wait before we see B looking glam again.
After their fun weekend in Vegas with Criss Angel Mindfreak, Drew and Cameron had a little girls' night out in LA on Wednesday. Cameron had so much fun on said weekend in Sin City with her friend (and possible new man?) that she didn't make it to the NYC premiere of Shrek. The movie comes out on Friday, and while die hard fans of the lovable ogre may be snapping up pre-sale tickets already, DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg is wary of having too high expectations. At Cannes he had this to say:
"I just caution everybody: for 'Shrek' it's not where we start, it's where we finish. I hope we have a very, very good weekend, but I don't expect us to set any records."
While it may not have a Spider-Man 3 caliber opening weekend, something tells me that Shrek the Third will do just fine for itself at the box office. Well, this weekend at least...before Pirates storms in on the 25th.
Lindsay and Calum continue to party in NYC but things aren't all fun and games for the new couple. The two apparently got into a screaming match at the Soho Grand earlier this week which ended with Calum's clothes getting torn. Lindsay made so much noise other guests complained and she had to be escorted back to her suite. This comes after reports of Calum making out with other women every time LL turns around. In fact a room service staffer says last week another woman was in bed with Calum when he was called to restock the minibar at 4 am. Best then told him to grab his tip from a pile of cash, saying, "It's Lindsay's money. I don't care." Not surprisingly Lindsay's friends wish he would just go back to London.
We got to see the Zodiac cast at their more casual photocall a little earlier, but it looks like they all scurried back to their hotels to get all glammed up for the premiere a few hours later. As always, Jake and Mark are working their suits while Kerry and Toni look gorgeous. As for Chloe, I am liking the color of that dress, and the back is a little interesting, but the whole thing comes off as a little blah. All these premieres are fun to see and all, but I'm hoping photos from the raucous after parties start popping up. You just know they get pretty crazy at Cannes.
I know, I know, more Brad bringing his kids to school, but how could I resist these ones of little Pax and Zahara? (Answer: I obviously couldn't) I just love little Z's attitude. Aaah! And Pax's hair. I mean, as usual Brad's a good looking dude, but this one's all about the kids. A Mighty Heart opens at Cannes on Monday, while Ocean's isn't until Thursday, so until then, lucky us, we get more of Brad chaperoning his little ones to and from school.
Britney was caught leaving the recording studio showing a lot less skin (thank you), but she's still rocking the hat and fake hair combo. Brit's obviously not comfortable sporting her recently shaved head, but we want to know - should Britney ditch the fake hair?
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
