Lindsay Lohan was awfully smiley on her way to tape Conan yesterday afternoon. Maybe an evening with Calum Best was all she needed to wipe that scowl off her face? Unfortunately, friends of the Lohan worry that Calum may not be the Best (sorry, sorry, had to) thing ever and may, in fact, be just using Lindsay for her fame. Hey, at least she's happy for the moment? For her sake, I hope she's one of those starlets who doesn't read her own reviews, because Georgia Rule is taking a beating by the critics, ours included. Something tells me that's never gonna stop The Lohan Party Train Express.
Mother's Day is this weekend, and we can only imagine what our favorite celebrity moms will do to kick back and relax. We love seeing all the star mommies with their adorable little ones, but we want to know - which celebrity mom is your favorite?
See, a year ago I wouldn't have posted pictures of John Mayer all on his own. A year ago as far as I knew John Mayer was a dude who sang some semi-cheesy songs and who I saw semi-frequently at the gym in Soho (random, true story). But now, now I feel like I know John Mayer. He's influential! He deserves Grammys! He makes Jessica Simpson happy! I'm inordinately excited that he got Sally Hershberger to give him a fancy new haircut! I've come a long way in my affection for John Mayer in a year. And now, here he is having his own post, just about him looking kinda cute. Golf claps.
Britney has grown out of the exposing herself to the cameras phase, but she may actually be more overexposed than ever. In fact, it's hard to go even a day without seeing her out and about in some ridiculous get-up like this one. According to a poll conducted by E-Poll Market Research, Brit has an "overexposed" score of 72% compared to only 54% five years ago. Back in October, Brit came in at #2, behind Paris, with 62% overexposure. We can't say that we're surprised by the numbers, but it will be interesting to see if the comeback she's working so hard on will warm people back up to seeing Brit's smiling face 24/7.
Fergie Fergs has really got her superhero thing (Fit could probably give me a more technical term for that) down pat -- she's obvie got the muscles to hold that one for a while. When she was done with that exercising business, she was back with her favorite weapon-purse running some errands on the town. I mean, I'm all for self-defense, but couldn't she have just gotten some pepper spray rather? That thing could hurt someone in a crowded room.
Kate got to spend some quality time with all the Wilson Brothers at last night's LA premiere of the boys' latest collaboration, The Wendell Baker Story. Somehow we missed this one and checking out the preview it doesn't look like their best work. It took the Wilsons ten years to get it made though, so they must be happy to finally release their labor of love. Kate looks like she was getting along famously with her boyfriend's brothers at the event, and we all know how important that is. It sounds like Luke and Andrew are big fans of hers as well.
A few weeks ago, Luke declared himself a fan of Kate and Owen's relationship. Now Andrew has chimed in, saying "She's the world's most beautiful tomboy. We have these soccer games, and she's one of the best players out there, male or female. She's got a great sense of humor, really beautiful and fun to be around." Kate's always seemed pretty cool, so it doesn't surprise us that she's fun to hang out with. Now, if only these two would come back to SF so we can find out for ourselves!

Jason Wahler has opted for rehab over a 60 day jail sentence for a September 2006 assault case. It's about time he got himself some help, though he still deserves punishment for all his illegal behavior. - People
