Never one to miss a photo-op, Jessica Simpson has made her way over to Cannes to take in some of the great films and parties. Her first stop was the My Blueberry Nights After Party. We're a bit confused as to why Jess is there but perhaps she is promoting Blonde Ambition even though it's not premiering at the festival. Since Blonde and Blonder is being screened, I am starting to think Cannes is lowering their standards these days. No telling whether John Mayer will be meeting her over there but it looks like he's fitting into Jessica's world just fine. He's even got the stamp of approval from Pimp Daddy Simpson. Here's more:

"If Jessica is in love, I love the things she is in love with," Joe Simpson, 49, told PEOPLE of Mayer at the Entertainment Weekly upfront party at The Box in New York City on Tuesday.

"I want her to be happy. I'm always a fan of his. I love him; he's got great music. I think the beautiful thing is that [he and Jessica] don't do the same thing. He's a legend already. There is no competition. He's a guitarist; that's his thing. Jessica is a singer. She doesn't play guitar, so there's no competition."

Hmmm, really? Isn't John a singer too? And perhaps he should have mentioned Jess is an actress now. That is going to be her gig for the summer right?

Lindsay earned her stripes (literally) as #1 Most Hottest at the Maxim party celebrating their Hot 100 List in NYC last night. She looked smokin' (and surly) in a skintight rainbow number. Calum accompanied his lady, but she wasn't about to let him steal her red carpet thunder by walking together (more on those two crazy kids and their recent fighting later). Avril, who came in at #15 on the list, looked like a death mess while Kate Walsh (#52) was infinitely more fabulous with that amazingly adorable puppy in her arms. I don't know why a puppy was at the party (or whether he should have been), but I know that I love it. Hilary and Haylie (#23 and #89, respectively) held their own, but I gotta hand it to Lohan. Girlfriend stole the show.

The stars of Zodiac, one of the many films competing in this year's Cannes Film Festival, looked happy to be reunited in France. Jake and Mark looked adorable flashing those big grins on the red carpet. Chloe - who can be a fashion wild card - looked so great even Mark was caught checking out her killer legs. Robert Downey Jr. was missing from the red carpet, but if he decided to skip the festival entirely, it's not from lack of co-star love. In a press conference, Jake said, "A very good, typical actor has about 25 really interesting choices and ideas within a minute. And then there's Robert Downey Jr. who has, I would say, 500 to 750 ideas. Some people would call that madness. I would call that genius."

There may have been a bit of rumored drama amongst the Zodiac cast members in the past, but it's pretty clear that they're getting along famously these days.

Kate Moss paid a little visit to the Topshop offices in London this week. Maybe it was to pick up a big, fat check. Her Topshop line has been quite a hit overseas and here in the states (for those who could get their hands on it). Lucky for the rest of us, Topshop has plans to open up three stores in NYC. It's about time! Hopefully Kate will put out another collection by that time as well!

Even without the kids around, Prague is treating Brad well. He's looking better than he has in some time (which, as I may have mentioned, is even more true when the precious little ones are around), so I'll let the fedora go this time. I'm not sure which of Brad and Angelina's four kids will be making the trip to Cannes with them for the premiere of Ocean's 13 and A Mighty Heart, but it would be pretty cute if at least their eldest, Maddox, put on a little tux for the red carpet. Though Mad would probably want to be a little more punk than that. So not happening, but would be cutest ever.

Okay, so maybe he's moved onto shooting his new film Made of Honor but don't think he isn't excited about the finale tonight. As you can see, he can barely contain his excitement. We are definitely wondering what the season is going to end with. Is George going to tell Callie about Izzie? Who was that girl Derek was talking to last week? What's going to happen at the wedding? Who will be leaving Grey's for good? So many questions and you know there's only going to be more at the end of the night!

There are of course tons of season finales tonight. Which one are you looking forward to the most?
