Jakey Gyllenhaal had a little bit of excitement this weekend chatting it up with with some cops in LA. Actually, who knows, maybe they're just security guards. Then again, he does have a gun. Anyway, I realized that last Friday I gave you exactly zero Manjoyment, so I'm making it up to you today, v-neck t-shirt style. A little Jake Gyllenhaal isn't a bad way to start out the week, right?
Matthew McConaughey spent this weekend doing what he does best -- showing off those abs, entertaining friends at his trailer, and playing the bongos! Seems harmless enough, but I'm sure you remember it caused some trouble back when he was arrested in 1999 after his neighbors made a noise complaint and police found him smoking pot and playing the bongos naked with a friend. MM still has some trouble keeping his clothes on but hopefully his new neighbors are used to the noise!
Sarah Michelle Gellar was hiding out for awhile, but lately she's been back on the Hollywood radar. For a while we thought she might be pregnant, but there was no sign of a bump at the Tribeca Film Festival. Pregnant or not, we're just happy to see her and yummy Freddie again. We want to know - what would you like to see SMG do next?
Britney really introduced Sean Preston to the wide world of hats this weekend! As cute as SP looks, this little number can't help but remind me of a certain ex-husband of hers. It's always great to see her with this little man, but it would be nice to see Jayden James on the other arm from time to time. I gotta say, though, this wig in particular is just fake blonde and un-brushed enough that for a second I forgot it was a wig at all.
Super tan Christina Aguilera took her mom out for a very public Mother's Day at The Ivy yesterday. Her mom looks like she was enjoying a little bit of celebrity glamor for her special day. The timing was perfect with Christina's tour in California for the weekend. She has one more show in San Diego on the 21st before leaving for her World Tour which kicks off in Japan on June 18th. Hopefully mom can make it to some of those dates as well!
Gwen Stefani may be in the middle of her US tour, but she made some time to hang out with the most fashionable little man in her life, Kingston, in North Carolina for Mother's Day. It looks like he was dressed in his finest jeans for the occasion and even maybe tried out a little bit of walking. Or at least standing. Either way.
Buzz may have already told us that Kate Walsh was getting her own show thanks to Ellen interviewing the President of ABC last week, but now Variety has confirmed the news. I have mixed feelings about Addison. At first she was the character we were supposed to hate since she was McDreamy's secret wife who turned out to be a cheater. Then like most of America, we learned to love this strong character. Yet now I am kinda over her, like I am over Meredith. Don't get me wrong, I am still a huge fan of the show even though the middle of this season sucked, it has gotten better - but based off the initial reactions to the special spin off pilot, I am not so sure I will be signing up for Private Practice no matter how much I enjoy watching Taye Diggs.
