Seriously though, could Shia be more places these days? When does that boy have time to sleep. Meanwhile, Hilary looked cute, as usual, as she presented an award. We recently learned that Hil's a total gadget junkie (just like us!), but something tells me she'll be getting her hands on that iPhone (even if she thinks the first ones will be a bit buggy) before the rest of us. Lucky, lucky.
Hi, David Beckham is good looking. I mean, it's no major newsflash, but hot damn he looks smokin' in red.* While his wife was getting the old band back together, David was out (did I mention this is a good look for him?) grabbing some lunch after his team's big win on Saturday. I'm a big fan of this casual hat-wearing Beckham. I mean, I'm not going to commit and say it's my favorite Beckham, but it's pretty good for now.
*I will respectfully ignore that he's got his cell phone clipped to his pants.
Kate and Owen have been spotted all over NYC in the past week, so it's pretty safe to say that these two are no longer trying to keep their relationship under wraps. There were rumors a few months ago that they had broken up, but now they seem to be going strong. What do you think - will Kate & Owen last?
Kirsten Dunst has hopped from Japan to London promoting Spider-Man 3, but the festivities are getting into high gear this side of the pond, too. Spider-Man Week is in full effect in Manhattan (are you finalizing your Spider-Man rap, New Yorkers?). Yay! Wheee! Apparently all this fuss over the movie is costing the studio a pretty penny. Like $500 million pretty pennies, which would make it the most expensive movie ever. Uh, I hope it's good?
Jennifer was taking the metallic trend a little too far when she stepped out of the Mandarin Hotel this weekend with Marc. Their new film El Cantante just released a fairly impressive trailer. Along with good early reactions, J Lo must be on cloud 9. She evidently also just scored a $1.2 million dollar paycheck to perform a 40 minute set for the joint birthday of a Russian billionaire and his wife on Saturday night. The lucky couple, Andrei Meinichenko and Aleksandra Nikolic also forked out another $800,000 to fly J Lo, Marc and their entourage to his estate in England and put them up at the Mandarin. Still, Jennifer didn't go out and blow all that cash. She and Marc spent an hour on Saturday afternoon at Topshop! Maybe she was given an early preview of Kate Moss's new line.
Anyone who rocked out to the Spice Girls back in the day would get a little warm and fuzzy inside knowing that they reunited this weekend (with the exception of Scary Spice) for the christening of Geri Haliwell's daughter, Bluebell Madonna. Godmother Posh couldn't get David out of soccer training, but was accompanied by her adorable little boys instead. Luckily, it sounds like the 4 former pop stars got some quality time to catch up and, of course, discuss that elusive reunion. Here's more:
"The four girls did spend a lot of time talking in the garden," says the guest. "I think they would like to do a reunion at some point but the time is not right just yet. Emma is heavily pregnant, Victoria wants another child and both Geri and Mel B are new moms."
Although Mel B was unable to fly out from her home in LA, she was there in spirit. "They all would have liked Melanie to have been there," says a source close to the women. "But they realize she has just had her baby. It was a rare chance for all of the others to catch up and they enjoyed talking about old times. It was a special Spice day."
