Isla Fisher looks a little skeptical on the cover of this month's Zink Magazine, but Hollywood isn't feeling that way about her talent. She cracked us up in Wedding Crashers and now that the world has fallen for her fiance's Borat, she's bigger than ever. This month she stars in The Lookout and she has four other films in the works with costars from Ryan Reynolds to Jim Carrey. Isla says that fiance Sacha Baron Cohen was actually the first person to suggest she do comedies. “I was so happy that he – the funniest guy in the world – thought I was funny,“ said Fisher.
She has pretty nice things to say about her man's most famous character as well: “There’s nothing sexier than a big handlebar moustache.” These two seem like a match made in comedy heaven and we're super curious to know if there's any truth to those pregnancy rumors so stay tuned!
It was a meeting of the Academy Award Winning Best Actresses at The Reaping premiere in LA last night. Hilary, who looked surprisingly glamorous (she's def got the sexy in her) stars in the horror film while Charlize was just there to look hot. Okay, okay, she was probably there to see the movie, too. But that top is pretty risque. Kim Stewart and Matthew Lillard were there to. How's that for random?
Okay, let's be honest here -- we can't wait for the release of Ocean's 13! Ocean's 12 paled in comparison to Ocean's 11, but we were still total suckers for the boys against that gorgeous European backdrop. For the newest installment the guys are back in tried and true Vegas, but we're sure they've got some new tricks up the sleeves of those suave suits. Al Pacino is joining the cast as Ocean and his crew's next target. While Ellen Barkin gets to play the sexy older woman that Matt Damon falls for. Lucky lady. Cameron is clearly reaping the benefits of all those trips to the gym - she's looking absolutely fabulous lately. Unfortunately, she won't get to show off her hot bod in any of her upcoming projects - it's all voice work for the Shrek movies. We want to know - What would you like to see Cameron do next?
Ryan was looking more like a hot rock star than an actor at LAX the other day. Evidently he's an accomplished Jazz guitarist and singer. We love his acting, so hopefully we'll someday get to hear his music, too. Soulful Ryan will be put on hold a bit, though, because the next time we'll see Ryan on the big screen it's in the psychological thriller, Fracture. He costars with Anthony Hopkins in the film, which looks dark and pretty interesting (check out more info and the trailer here). He's got two other movies coming out this year, so hopefully he'll get another shot at that Oscar. From there, maybe someone can convince him to get back on screen with McAdams? So much wishful thinking.
Courteney hit up Il Sole for the second night this week, but this time her adorable date was a little more apt to make a mess of her plate (not that I've witnessed Lisa Kudrow's table manners, for all I know she's a freestyle eater). I'm talking, of course, about little Coco. Maybe they were out celebrating this week's Dirt finale. No official word on how the much ado about nothing Cox-Aniston kiss affected the ratings. I'm definitely hoping it comes back (the finale was so intense). Meanwhile, how cute is Cox-Arquette Ladies night?
I understand that Courteney is a woman on the go (with a young kid) who needs to keep her hands free, but perhaps they should take geeksugar's advice on a more chic Blackberry holster.
In this week's Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf demonstrates that there's nothing like a red sparkly dress to make you stand out at a party. Although her exact Marchesa dress isn't available online, this one is quite similar.
