Natalie may be looking pretty low key at LAX this week, but any Portman is a treat. Plus, somehow even in the most casual outfit she looks pretty effortlessly cool. On a semi-related note, watching Nat's hair grow out after shaving it off in V for Vendetta (it's so long now!) gives me hope for Brit. Perhaps Natalie should give Miss Spears some lessons on properly embracing the non-hair. Though, to be fair, it would be hard to measure up to Natalie Cute-man's cute-ness with the buzz cut. She's pretty awesome.
We already know that Patrick loves his fancy fast toys, and this week out at dinner with a friend in LA he showed off a shiny silver one. Forgive my very very limited lack of knowledge about cars, but this one looks purty. Patrick's not looking too shabby himself, either. As annoying as the McDreamy thing may get to Patrick (only an assumption based on how annoying it is in general), I gotta believe it's what helped pay for this snazzy little number. McFastCar. Speaking of Grey's, I've been a little disappointed with the show of late, but tonight's episode looks like it could be a doozy. In an amazing way. Yay for random loose ends.
Finally! Sanjaya has finally been booted!!! Happy Idol days are here again. Looks like all that campaigning by vote for the worst, Howard Stern and more were not powerful enough to convince America to force us to watch someone who should have been gone weeks ago. We were a little upset to see Blake in the bottom three but thankfully he was spared elimination. We did expect to see Simon address the eye roll and we're glad he did. Just makes us love him even more. The most exciting part of the night for me was trying to predict who the most amazing duet will be next week on Idol. My dream duo (since Molly and I were going back and forth on the very important topic at hand over IM last night while watching the episode) is Bono and Madonna. I have a feeling Bono is definitely involved but not sure who the other half is. I am so curious. Tell us, who do you think the surprise duet will be? For more details from last night's episode, click here.
Jessica was caught at JFK looking pretty fresh faced considering she has no make-up on. She's recently been promoting her new film Next with Nic Cage. In the sci-fi thriller Nic plays her love interest. She recently told eXtra about having a crush on him as well as her favorite on screen kissing co-stars. Here's more:
On Nic:
“My mother said to me,'Do you remember that you were in love with him when you were thirteen?' So I’ve had this mini crush on him for a long time.”
On her favorite on screen kisser:
“On my God, let’s see… It might be a tie between Nic, Ed Norton and Adam Sandler… they’re all very good kissers.”
Well, it looks like Jessica is doing pretty well for herself in the leading man department (and in her personal life as well). We're betting kissing JT is pretty amazing also. To check out a preview of Next and the trailer just click here.
What are two things America loves? Ice Cream and Americal Idol! Now those worlds have come together. Dreyer's Slow Churned® has created 5 new fabulous Idol flavors and they have asked us to vote for our favorite. The flavors are: Take The Cake, Choc 'n Roll Caramel, Hollywood Cheesecake, Soulful Sundae Cone and Triple Talent. Why vote you ask? Well you can win a bunch of prizes including four tickets to the 'American Idol' finale. Dreyer's also has a handy downloadable widget that lets you countdown to the series finale on May 23. The sweepstakes ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 27, 2007.
Thanks to our friends at Dreyer's (who have graciously sponsored this post) for sending us all the info, and for supplying our PopSugar avatar with a yummy ice cream cone with my current favorite flavor, Take The Cake - a yellow cake flavored light ice cream with frosting and sprinkles! Vote now, cheer on your idols later.
Jessica Alba got all dolled up in a very very sheer dress and a ton of makeup to shoot a commercial for Revlon in LA yesterday. Jessica looks kind of annoyed on the set, except when she's wrapped up in Cash's arms between takes. Apparently the two hit a rough patch, but they talked things out over lunch at Orso last week. Looks like Cash is putting in the extra effort by waiting for Jessica in the wings. Hopefully these two can make it work since they seem like a good pair.
Earlier this week, the UK's Daily Mail ran a story called Is it the end of Brangelina? in which the author claimed to have sat down at the Roosevelt Hotel Bar with Brad himself. Brad is quoted as saying that the lies the media create are "rubbish," make his life "hell," and that Angelina is "like Supergirl, in every way." We didn't think it sounded realistic and apparently we were right. Pitt's rep is denying the story from all angles. I mean come on, would Brad really use the word rubbish? I did like the Supergirl comparison, but rubbish. That was a dead give-away. Besides, based on the recent pictures including this one, it looks like all is fine and dandy in the Jolie-Pitt family.
Nicky Hilton makes dressing for transition weather look so easy! Waiting for her car at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, she wore a trendy and chic ensemble consisting of a gray blazer, a simple black tank, denim cut offs and platform booties.
