Julia was showing her baby bump when filming Fireflies in the Garden in Texas this week. Obviously her character is also pregnant in the film. We've told you about how Orlando, Leo and Madonna are making contributions to the environment - and Julia has always been one to support the environment including building a $20 mil eco-friendly home. In Elle's Green issue, she talks about how each person can make a difference. Here are highlights:
On the toxic threat school buses pose to kids: “I just feel that any parent who’s informed cannot put their kid on a school bus without saying to their school district or their congressman, ‘Hey, man, you gotta clean this up for us!’ Because it’s too easy not to fix.”
On her appearance on Oprah to campaign for biodiesel buses: “I’ve been in this business for 20 years, so I understand for better or for worse the media frenzy and the power of celebrity. And until you say something of true value on Oprah, you don’t really realize how many people watch her.”
On saving the planet: “It sounds corny, but it’s true: It’s our absolute responsibility to take care of our children so that we don’t just throw up our hands and say, ‘Wow, we pretty much f—ked this up. Good luck to ya in 50 years.’ Because we did create the problem little by little and that’s the way we’re gonna have to fix it, little by little, the best we can.”
On everyday ways to stay green: “Every time I go to the grocery store carrying my grocery sacks back from the time before, I feel happy. All the tiny things, I think, really do make a difference.”
Celebrities definitely have access to greater resources than most of us, but we love that Julia reminds us that every little bit helps.
Jude doesn't look happy to see the cameras as he's leaving Sadie Frost's house today. Perhaps they got into a little fight? Apparently the battle is back on between Jude and his other famous ex, Sienna Miller. Sources say they are totally fighting over whom they have each been hooking up with. Here's more:
Jude, who was caught cheating on Sienna with his children's nanny Daisy Wright, has slated Sienna's new bloke Jamie Burke. Meanwhile Sienna launched a verbal onslaught on Lindsay Lohan, who was recently spotted showing Jude some of New York's most exclusive nightclubs and hotels.
Insults have been flying from Jude's camp in America to Sienna's in London. He's slated her as "dull, fake and boring", while she's said he is "fat, egotistical and juvenile". A mutual friend of the couple, who is sick of playing go between, told me: "After splitting up, Jude and Sienna said they would try to remain friends.
"But this simply hasn't happened. "They are both angry and bitter. They just keep on trading vicious insults, and keep fighting back and forth."
Sienna boring and Jude fat? Sounds totally like high school to me, but that's what these two are best at. Besides, we wouldn't put it past them to reunite some day soon. Justin's been one busy boy. Beside his recent tour and hot and heavy romances, he's back in the studio. This time the pop star is collaborating with Madonna! Could we be ANY more excited? We saw him head to the UK yesterday and now we know why. Here's more:
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is busy writing songs for MADONNA.
The former NSYNC star is collaborating with the Queen Of Pop on her forthcoming album, which is due out in November.
Justin confirmed: “I have been working on some new music.
“But it’s not for myself — I’m writing for other people. I’m working on some stuff for Madonna.”
Justin headed into a West London studio yesterday with Madge.
He is in the country for a few weeks as he prepares to kick off the UK leg of his current world tour.
Justin also confirmed that he called Britney! He said, "I called her because I worried about her,... She's a great woman. I'm rooting for her," he said. "[It] seems like she's getting everything under control now." It's amazing how we can go from being disappointed in what seemed like a cocky celeb one day to getting excited and eagerly waiting to hear more the next. You never know what tomorrow will bring.
Nicole and Joel showed off their color coordinating skills leaving a salon in Beverly Hills yesterday. Nicole looks really cute (and like 12 years old) but we're a bit confused as to why Joel is so improperly dressed for LA weather. Isn't he hot all buttoned up in black? No complaining from us. We'd rather see his tattoos all covered up anyway.
Ryan and Rachel are one of our favorite celebrity couples right now, so imagine our excitement when we heard they might be getting married! Well to be fair these rumors have been around for a while but new reports are making them resurface. A source reveals, "They're madly in love and plan on getting married this year." But the couple "want to avoid the press. So they agreed to get engaged and married on the same day - and won't allow their families to talk about it." So what do you think - Will Ryan and Rachel finally tie the knot?

TMZ is reporting about Jake's date with his good friend Austin (as seen here biking with him this weekend). Apparently Jake visited him on the set of Austin's HBO pilot, John from Cincinnati. The two spent most of their time in Austin's trailer. We know these boys have a lot in common but we'd rather focus on the other dates Jake has been having with one of our favorite actresses. Apparently Reese is quite the go-getter. Word is she was the one to go after Jake. We have been hearing a web of rumors and this weekend US Weekly is reporting that the two month courtship has turned into a "definite romance." Here's more:
“Reese was the pursuer and really wanted to date Jake,” says a pal of the Oscar winner, who costars with her new beau in the just-wrapped drama Rendition.
“She’s known him for a while and thought he was intelligent and charming.”
And the feeling is definitely mutual. “Jake doesn’t want a party girl at all,” says a Gyllenhaal pal, who says the relationship blossomed over DVD and takeout nights at home and long talks about movies.
