Katie Holmes stopped off at a wardrobe fitting for her upcoming cinematic masterpiece, Mad Money, in LA this week. Despite rumors that Tom was going to be overseeing Katie every step of her return to the big screen, he seems to have skipped the first stop on the way. Ironic that she was at a wardrobe fitting in such ill-fitting pants. I mean, I know she's going for the cute widelegged/oversized pants thing (which her friend Posh pulls off with ease), but these ones look like they're about to fall off. As a minorly peripheral aside: Suri Cruise's Birthday is right around the corner! Don't send clothes, she doesn't want 'em. Ha.

Penelope treated herself to some spa treatments in Beverly Hills this week. Considering all the romantic rumors surrounding the actress recently, it's no wonder she needs some relaxation time. We thought she was seeing Orlando Bloom, until she was photographed with Olivier Martinez last weekend. Now Page Six is reporting that sometime last week she snuck off with Josh Hartnett for a fling in Turks and Caicos. They were evidently spotted "canoodling at the Parrot Cay private island resort." This rumor seems a little far fetched to us, especially since we also saw Josh in NYC earlier this week. If not, though, Penelope should maybe slow down a bit. We can barely keep up!

We can hardly keep up these days with Penelope and her many men but it looks like her sister is keeping her busy as well. The sexy sisters have announced they are creating a clothing line together for Mango.

Justin Timberlake stopped at the Four Seasons in LA yesterday for the first of many Shrek 3 related press events. As we saw during his Kids' Choice hosting gig, JT obviously still appeals to the kids, but he's also taking on more mature roles these days. Being a super star sex symbol isn't always easy, though. In fact, JT tells GQ magazine his Black Snake Moan sex scene made him pretty uncomfortable. Here's more:

"The sex scene was pretty hot," he told the mag. "I'm not going to say it doesn't feel weird pretending to [have sex with] someone in front of a man with a sound boom, though."

JT was also adamant that he didn't want billions beaming at his butt on the big screen.

"One of the first conversations I had with the director was about nudity," the former frontman of *NSYNC added. "In the first cut you could see my a-- but, thankfully, that's now out."

It's good to know that Justin isn't entirely letting go of his kid-friendly image just yet. While many of his fans love the adult version, he definitely knows when to leave his SexyBack at home.

Coco looked like quite the little blue princess out lunching with her cute mom at the Four Seasons this week. Something tells me she had a hand in picking out this outfit all by herself. I can totally see fashion in her future. Too cute. Considering how often we see Coco in her mother's (or someone else's) arms, I sometimes forget how big she is! She's like a real miniature person these days. Plus, the picture below where she's making a little pouty face is pretty much the most precious thing ever. Okay, too hard to decide, today so far at least.

The blue-eyed Britney wore her favorite boots to celebrate her sister Jamie Lynn's 16th Birthday at Ruth's Chris last night. It looks like Brit had a little accident during the meal, but that didn't take the smile off her face. Word is Britney found a new man she met at Promises, musician Howie Day. Here's more:

“Britney just lights up and seems back to her old self when she talks to Howie or tells people about him,” an “insider” tells the mag. “She thinks he’s very talented — and says he’s the best kisser ever!”

But not everyone is thrilled about the romance. Spears’ mother, Lynne, is concerned about Day’s past: he’s been arrested twice and was sent to rehab as part of his probation.

“Lynne wants Britney to be with someone outside the music industry,” says the Spears family insider. “Howie is always on the road and exposed to influences that are discouraged in rehab.”

We'd love to see Britney happy with a new man but we'd rather see her getting healthy and spending time with her sons right now.

Tobey is looking a little wax-like in this weekend's issue of PARADE. He is obviously promoting Spider-Man 3 but in the interview he opens up about his personal life as well. Life hasn't always been about making blockbusters and raising his newborn daughter. His parents were young when he was born and actually divorced when he was only 3. Spending his childhood bouncing between relatives helped motivate him to become successful at such a young age. Here's more:

“Growing up the way I did, I had a very serious ambition to make some money, to have some security and comfort in my life,” he adds. “When I first started being successful at this, financially speaking, I was very conservative with my money. That was definitely a product of where I came from. You know those Lotto winners who win big and then blow through all the money? That would never happen to me. I just never wanted to put myself in the position where my spending was so huge that I had to keep making movie after movie. My mentality about that has changed a bit,” he concedes, now that he’s a bona fide superstar. He adds, “I feel like you could drop me anywhere in the world, anonymously, and I’d figure out how to survive. If you stripped away everything I’ve got—the money, the fame, the possessions, everything—I know that I’d find a way to get along, because, basically, that’s what I’ve had to do all my life.”

Tobey never seemed like a high maintenance actor anyway but judging from the amount of money he banked up in the Spidey franchise we bet he'll never have to worry about being financially dependent ever again.
