Kate Moss went for the dressed down look while shopping on Robertson and stopping by Chateau Marmont in LA this week. While we're not sure why she's stateside right now, she is scheduled be in NY at the beginning of next month to debut her Topshop line at Barneys. We've seen Kate model some of her collection in British Vogue and the Times Style Magazine, but to check out an official preview click here. Far from your standard celebrity "designer," Kate says she was very involved in the whole process. Here's more from her interview with the Sunday Times Style magazine:
- On the clothes:
"I wanted to feel that I'd wear it," she says, "that I liked it and wanted it."
- On doing her own collection:
"I'd talked about it with other people before, and it just happened. But this just felt like the right time, with the right people. Before I didn't feel I could have given it my full attention. I was travelling so much. Now I'm a lot more grounded and settled, with Lila and everything. I'm here most of the time. And I'm really getting into it. I love it! Philip Green (the Topshop owner) has even said I can have an office. My own office! I want somewhere I can put my mood boards up."
Considering everyone has her own fashion line these days we are surprised it took Kate so long to get into the game. As for becoming a working woman with an office to go to everyday, we'll just have to wait and see if she'll give up her Rock n Roll lifestyle first.

Owen Wilson took his dog to Malibu, Vespa style, this week. I guess when you're not looking to walk long distance to take your dog to the beach, the Vespa is the hip way to get there. Also, it's baby blue, which is awesome. Owen's newly public lady, Kate Hudson, was (sadly) nowhere in site, but he looked pretty cute nonetheless. Plus he's barefoot, which is a little bit scruffy hot?

Halle received the 2,333rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday at a ceremony in front of the Kodak Theatre. Hot boyfriend (and excellent carry on item) Gabriel Aubry, her mom Judith and pal Samuel L. Jackson came out to honor Halle on her big day. "I want to officially state that I am an emotional retard," she said at the ceremony. "I am so emotional ... as soon as I saw the crowds of people and friends here, I started to cry." Okay, so not the most eloquent choice of words but we get what she means. At least she was able to pull it together, and get nice and close to her new star, to pose for the cameras. Congrats, Halle!

While I'm certainly not there to see for myself how Lindsay occupies her post-rehab nights, judging from pictures (and who is that guy helping her out in LA this weekend?) she's spent pretty much every evening on the town since leaving Wonderland. And while some (okay, every) gossip column is saying she's certainly drinking, we haven't seen her do anything that salacious. However, any and all rumors that she is more than friends with hipster DJ (and son of the owner of Benihana) Steve Aoki, are pretty questionable on her part (and hopefully untrue). Seriously.

The Gyllenhaal-Sarsgaards (or is it Sarsgaard-Gyllenhaals?) took the family to Paris this week. That's right, the City of Love got even more love-filled with the addition of this
Ramona sighting. Um, precious. Little Ramona is looking so much like Peter these days. I gotta say, I never thought Peter was all that hot, but now? Hey, cute scruffy daddy swoon!

A toned down and covered up Jessica Alba took a night off from her boyfriend Cash to party in LA with her friend and Honey director, Bille Woodruff. While she is better known for her beauty than her acting skills, apparently she's looking to take on some more serious roles. She also hopes that her new thriller, The Eye, can be the film that helps her make the transition. Anyone who watched Dark Angel knows the girl has star quality. Now if only she can find movie roles to match.

Mark is on a world tour to promote Shooter and this time he stopped off in Berlin. Marky Mark is still looking buff these days but he apparently didn't love the real Marine training he had to go through in preparation for the film. He said, "I didn't enjoy it at all. I pretended to enjoy it, I acted like I was going to like it, but I'm pretty lazy and it was very intense. Once you're on their turf they like to push you around a little bit. They like to test you and see if you're man enough to handle it or they'll call your agent - so I toughed it out."
Somehow we can't imagine that he's able to look that good and still be lazy. Besides this is the man who was hanging on my wall in his underwear all throughout my high school years (and then some). I guess being a father of two has made him want to be lazy when he can. Can't blame him, especially if he still looks as great as he does today.
