I swear, Winged Creatures must be one of the most publicly photographed movie sets in a while. Weird. Well, it's a good thing we like the cast. The drama's ensemble already includes Dakota, Kate Beckinsale and Guy Pearce (all shown here) plus others, like Forest Whitaker. As of today, Jennifer Hudson's name may be added to that marquee. I gotta say I was a little J-Hudded out immediately post Oscars, but maybe landing a role in what sounds like an interesting movie may just get her back in my good graces.

This week Bono joined fellow musicians Elton John and Paul McCartney in being named a Knight Commander of the British Empire. Unfortunately, because he's an Irish citizen he won't get the title of "sir." Luckily, he's already thought up a few good replacements, "You have permission to call me anything you want — except sir, all right?" he said. "Lord of lords, your demigodness, that'll do." Bono was joined at the ceremony in Dublin by his wife Ali and their children. His 5-year-old, John, was a little disappointed because he thought his dad was becoming a Jedi. So cute!

Scarlett Johansson didn't look too pleased to be caught by the paparazzi at JFK returning home to NY this week. Yeah, I suppose no one wants to be snapped immediately post-travel. I've grown to enjoy seeing ScarJo (for some reason, that nickname makes me giggle) on the big screen, but it looks like her newest homage to Manhattan, The Nanny Diaries, has hit a speed bump. The release date has been pushed back from this spring to September 7th. The producers are saying they want to line it up better with award season, but it's certainly an ominous sign about the movie. And to be honest, the trailer isn't selling it very well either. I still have high hopes though. Gotta have high hopes.

Courtney Love didn't skimp on the accessories when she visited the beach in Hawaii yesterday. While she seems to be enjoying her vacation, we (along with everyone else) are still shocked by those super thin bikini pics. Courtney announced on her website that she's already lost 44 pounds and intends to lose "6 more maybe 11." Luckily, Courtney's rep says the singer is following a healthy macrobiotic diet, eating lots of fruits, vegetables, and fish and doing yoga to get in shape. She's reversing some of her old plastic surgery, too. Here's more:
Love also writes openly about having had a nose job, saying that she has her "old nose" back. "I hated that nosejobby nose, it was like a little beak," she writes. Now, she says, she had had her nose "fixed." "[It] looks like the one god gave me so im happy not to have crazy lips and a crazy teensy unnatural little nose."
She adds, "All i care about is that my self esteem is [limitless] and intact, and that nothing and no situation effects my self esteem."
It's great that Courtney is getting in shape and keeping healthy, but it sounds like she may be overdoing it a bit. Hopefully, she'll find a way to be happy with herself just the way she is.

The usually quite petite Isla Fisher has been looking a little, um, less petite (and more buxom) of late, sparking rumors that she and fiance, Sacha Baron Cohen, are expecting a child. Oh, and this whole suspiciously wearing a big coat on the red carpet thing didn't help either. As I mentioned earlier, I try my very hardest not to rumor-pregnate celebrities (I can imagine it gets old quick for the celebs in question, too) but on this morning's "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," Ryan's sidekick Ellen K announced that Isla is, in fact, with child. In response, Isla's rep released a cryptic statement. Us reports:

“If or when Isla becomes pregnant, she and her fiancé will decide if an announcement is necessary.”
Uhh...so we'll take that as...a...no? Or is that a maybe. So what do you think, is the Wedding Crashers star expecting or just enjoying more loose-fitting clothing?

Jennifer puts a spin on the modern woman in the pages of April's Allure by marrying housewife with black vinyl and stainless steel (and a robot). She says however, that things at home with Ben and Violet aren't exactly glamorous. She's always maintained an everyday girl image and seems as if she's a little taken aback by her celebrity status. As for being married to Ben, she still doesn't really know how that happened either. Here's more:

"He was a really fun partner in crime but I didn't take him seriously, and he didn't take me seriously," she says. "We just made fun of each other and got each other through a hard movie, but it was not leaning toward romance in any way. Then he went through all this stuff in his life, I went through all this stuff in my life, and we would talk every six months: 'Oh, how are you?' Then I was doing the follow-up to Daredevil, and the producer said, 'Will you call Ben and ask him if he'll do a cameo?' And so I called him, and we spent this day doing this cameo, and I was kind of like-Oh! We were both single. And we started emailing. It was very gradual. And surprising. And even now talking about it, I'm surprised."
They do seem like a natural fit together. At least much more so than the original Bennifer. Along with more about Ben, Jennifer discusses how it was hard to lose weight after having Violet but based on these pics you'd never know she had a problem getting back into shape.
Some of Hollywood's funniest actors teamed up with ice skating's finest for the LA premiere of Blades of Glory. The movie, which stars Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as professional ice skaters, looks hilarious -- check out the full review here. Based on Will's past success, this movie has huge box office potential, but he doesn't strike us as someone who lets fame get to his head. He recently talked to AP about how lucky he feels to be so well received in a career that he truly loves. Here's more

Ferrell: There's definitely a pocket of people who, for whatever reasons, their voices are being listened to at this moment in time and have enough juice to get things made and have this sensibility that seems to be working for audiences. ... It's funny how lucky comedy is. Sometimes an idea will hit you that you find obviously funny and you think, "That could be commercially successful." Aside from those few moments, you're usually just going with something you think is funny and it's just luck that more people than you think it's funny as well.
AP: It sounds like you feel it's fleeting.
Ferrell: I do. I don't know if it's just that thing in me that always feels like, "Ah, I can't believe I still get to do this." It feels like you do for better or worse have a shelf-life.
We certainly think that Will will be around for a while. Not only is he incredibly funny, but he seems really sweet, too. Heck, we're even excited to see him in spandex...kind of.
