Is it me or was Gwen lip syncing last night? The beginning looked a bit off but she did her thing and looked great in her usual high waisted costume. Not sure why Akon was really there but I have a crush on him so who cares if his main purpose was to do some whoo-hoos. Love the shout out she gave Kingston, but why wasn't Gavin holding the little rocker up in the audience? That would have been ratings gold. By now you all know one of my favorites, Chris Sligh was eliminated last night but it was no shock that he was a total disappointment this week. I do love how he went around to the other contestants at the end giving everyone hugs. He just seems like a really nice funny guy but he lacked star power and any improvements from week to week. Natalie Cute-man! (That doesn't really roll off the tongue, does it?) Natalie was spotted leaving her London hotel this week, newspaper in hand. Judging from her outfit, Spring hasn't sprung just yet over there. I'm not sure what she's doing overseas, but after hearing that she and Scarlett had some fun nights out dancing in the city while filming The Other Boleyn Girl, I'm thinking maybe she can't pull herself away from the nightlife. Maybe one of these days we'll actually get to see Natalie the party girl out on the town. Doubt it, though.
J Lo has been all over the world (literally), working hard to promote her new Spanish album in a variety of different outfits. There's no doubt that Jennifer looks great, but we want to know - is all the publicity making you want to listen to J Lo's new album?
Matthew is back in LA after shooting was suspended on Fool's Gold due to a dangerous species of jellyfish along the Queensland coast. We guess he'll have to resort to doing his shirtless surfing/stretching on the LA beaches instead. Luckily he has a surfing film up next so he'll have an extra excuse to take his shirt off in public. In the meantime he's busy taking back up with the LA party scene. He was out with another mystery woman at PARC Wednesday night. Now if we could only get him to shave that beard.
Leo and Kevin Connolly forwent the LA bar scene and opted to get their drink on liquor store style last night. No word on where the boys enjoyed their boozy goods after stopping by the shop, but I'm sure they had a fun night. Kevin is a member of Leo's old gang of guys (the once-deemed "P**** Posse") -- I'm sure they had a lot of catching up to do. Fun! Unforch for us, Leo kept his face mostly hidden from the cameras. Sigh, I guess we'll just have to settle for seeing those dreamy eyes on the big screen (Scorsese directed, of course).
Even in shorts and a t-shirt, Lindsay looked every bit the movie star leaving a nail salon yesterday. LL may call LA home at this point, but the developers of a swanky condo complex in NYC are tempting the starlet back to her native state. They offered Linds the use of one of the apartments for free in order to attract potential buyers. These folks obviously don't know what they're getting themselves into. We're not sure if people looking to buy fancy apartments in Manhattan would be the types to want to live next door to LL, but who knows! Hopefully the building owners have a good insurance plan!
