Yesterday we saw some pics of George practicing his spiral on the set of Leatherheads, and now it looks like he convinced his co-star Renee to get in on the game. She's still in her costume (uh, I hope), but she's not afraid to get a little dirty to complete her two handed catch. She is quite the natural! Heh, cute. Now all we need is their third co-star John Krasinski to join in throwing around the pigskin, too. Though, perhaps this game is for Oscar Winners only?

Taking a break from her tunes, Drew played it cool at LAX this week. We've been caught up in her preferred relaxation techniques and new man recently, but she's got big projects on the horizon, too. Drew is producing and starring in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical (which came from a documentary) Grey Gardens, based on the lives of Edith and Edith Bouvier Beale, the eccentric aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy.
Jessica Lange and Drew will co-star as the mother and daughter debutantes who become reclusive, refuse to wash and let their 50 cats rule the house as their wealth dwindles. I think it's safe to say we've never seen bubbly Drew in a role like this before, but we're excited to see her more serious side, too!

Maggie and Peter took a Ramona-less stroll in New York this week, looking every bit the happy, in love, young parents. It seems the two stopped off at a book store and examined the contents of a FedEx envelope (ooooh...intriguing). Uneventful stroll besides, these two Brooklyn dwellers must have a pretty nice life in New York, including some very delectable friends. Judging from the multiple appearances on his show, it seems like the Gyllenhaal family is quite close to celebrity chef, Mario Batali. Not too shabby (and certainly delicious).

Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's double-feature of sex, violence, and gross-out humor, Grindhouse, premiered in LA last night. The film was reportedly so offensive that scenes had to be cut to avoid a NC 17 rating, but the trailer shows us that it will still be a stomach churner. Eva kept it casual while out to support her friends, but obviously was fine to let the other girls shine. Rose McGowan is always up for that task and worked her black hair magic on the red carpet. We're not sure we have the stomach for this one, but we're always happy to see glammed up stars.

The Beckhams may be months away from their move to the states, but they're already hobnobbing with new celebrity friends overseas. After dining at the London Nobu last night, David and Victoria met up with none other than Diddy at Automat. Diddy must have been thrilled, as we learned from an interview with The Sun, he's a huge Beckham admirer. Here are highlights:
"David is a really special man. Him coming over to the States is like the Beatles going over there. Football isn't that big in America at the moment, but David is going to be a hero and bring the sport up to another level."
He added: "You can tell just how passionate he is about his football when he gave up his captaincy for England. He's going to be a legend. He's doing a very powerful thing for football worldwide.
Diddy has also put David and wife VICTORIA in touch with close contacts at his estate agent's realtor. He added: "I'll help him settle in. The US is my area. He's got my full support and the backing of all my people."
Okay there Diddy, calm down. Not sure exactly when Diddy became such a soccer fan but he's loving himself some David Beckham! We can't really blame him, however, we share in his excitement for entirely different reasons.

Hot momma Heidi Klum and her Dora-the-Explorer-Sock-Over-His-Broken-Foot-Wearing husband Seal hit up Ago last night for a late night dinner. The mother of three is looking hot as ever here -- certainly at least in part thanks to her rigorous Baby Weight work-out. I just love these two and their adorable date night-ness. And did I mention the Dora the Explorer sock? I bet little Leni had a hand in that decision. I'm a little gushy, but -- too freaking cute! These two might be my favorites.
