Scarlett is looking seriously shapely and sexy in the pages of April's Vogue. We already told you about the JT/Josh Harnett part of the interview, but now we've got more of the 50's inspired photos. Also in the interview Scarlett talks about another one of our favorite stars, Natalie Portman. The co-stars from The Other Boleyn Girl not only respect each other's on-set styles, but were partners in crime out on the town as well. Here's more:
"I first became involved because Natalie was doing it," Johansson said. She and Portman had never worked together before, and Johansson said that even before reading the novel or script, she leaped at the chance to make a film with the young actress whom she admired. "She's a wonderful actor, just a great scene partner," Johansson said. "I guess I had never really worked with a young woman my age. She's so professional. And she's not pretentious or anything, just a really nice girl. It also helped that she's from New York."
Portman was just as impressed by Johansson. "The thing about her is she's an amazing actress. You look at her and instantly believe you are in the place you are; she makes it immediately real," Portman said. "She's so supportive and giving and passionate about her work," she added. "She's really direct about everything she wants or feels, whereas I am a little more timid."
"We were allies and coconspirators," Portman explained. "It's so rare that we get to work with actresses our own ages. You can relate at a friend level: We're at the same places in our lives; we were able to talk about boyfriends and go out dancing."
Though they're both pretty tight lipped about their personal lives, we're sure the girls shared some juicy gossip we'd love to hear. We're definitely looking forward to seeing lots more of these two together - on and off the big screen.
Christina took her "Back to Basics" tour to Madison Square Garden this weekend. After she sang her hits from her latest album along with Xtina classics like Beautiful, she hit Marquee for the after party. Guests included opening acts, Danity Kane and Pussycat Dolls, mixed with celebs like Neil Patrick Harris. It looks like there was a black and white themed party based on their outfits. As for Christina, I guess the toned down make up look is off limits when she's in character. I don't mind the red lips so much anymore and kudos for wearing underwear, but is it necessary to show the world the exact outlines of your bra?
Last month, Britney Spears made huge enormous waves with an impromptu visit to a hair salon. This weekend, a far healthier looking Britney went out for the first time since leaving rehab and one of her first stops was right back at a hair salon. This Saturday excursion followed Friday night's dance class/sushi eating, pictures of which are coming up in a little bit. What she was doing at the salon, you know, being mostly bald and all, is beyond me (perhaps she treats that wig like it's her real hair?), but the important thing is that big ol' Britney smile on her face.
Pssst, you can get a peek at one of the two tats she got that fateful night, pink lips, on the inside of her wrist.
Jennifer Lopez's Eurotrip ain't over yet! J-Lo proved she's still got it (and by it I mean that behind she supposedly insured for a few million back in 1999) while signing some autographs in Berlin this weekend. The singer recently chatted with Parade Magazine and since it wouldn't be a J-Lo interview without baby talk, she revealed that her new song "Tu" was originally written as a lullaby. Well someday, when a pregnancy rumor is actually true for her and Marc, we'll know what she's singing to the little one. Thrilling stuff.
Not too long ago, Anne Hathaway claimed that she relates to Lindsay in that she, too, was a party girl back in the day. These days, we always see Anne with a clean image but Lindsay is still hitting the clubs. We want to know - What starlet lifestyle do you prefer?
Nicky Hilton makes dressing for transition weather look so easy! Waiting for her car at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, she wore a trendy and chic ensemble consisting of a gray blazer, a simple black tank, denim cut offs and platform booties.
