Perhaps I spoke too soon elevating Fergie from the oft-used "butterface" to the entirely made up "AndHerFace" status. Not that there's anything wrong with Fergie's face per se in these pics, mostly just her lips. And mostly just the color of her lips (though are they usually that, um, pronounced?) at that. Also, she's orange. So I'll still get behind the general positive upswing of cute for the Fergs, just not in this shade.
Wow! Salma has gone from surprisingly engaged and pregnant to engaged and pregnant in the span of two weeks. While we still don't know all that much about Salma's fiance or their relationship (other than that he has boatloads of money and is CEO of PPR, an international corporation that owns luxury brands like Gucci and YSL), sources close to the Ugly Betty producer say that once she got together with Francois, whom had been a friend of hers for years, she didn't want to wait any longer to have the baby she desires. I, on the other hand, can't wait to see Salma's adorable little baby (with Godmother Penelope perhaps?) and catch a look at what that wedding is going to entail. Something tells me it's going to be lavish.
Nothings better than kicking off a Monday with new Clooney pics! George is still hard at work on the set of Leatherheads, which he is both directing and starring in himself. We're sure he's got his hands full with all those responsibilities, but at least there's one big hurdle that he doesn't have to worry about this time. Turns out, while filming The Good German there was a little bit of on-set trouble with the, uh, German part. Here's more:
“It was brutal,” Clooney told Australia’s Herald Sun. “We had a dialect coach on the set who apparently didn’t speak any German. We didn’t know. He would say, ‘That was good.’” But when the film was shown to German speakers, they couldn’t understand a word of what Clooney said. Director Mike Nichols, who was born in Germany and speaks the language, was called onto the set to help out. “So, for dubbing, Mike was my dialect coach,” Clooney explained. “He would say, ‘Okay, say this.’ Every word of it was from Mike Nichols.”
We're sure George was good-natured as always about the whole mix up. Just another reason to love him -- after that sexy smile of course!
Ashton may have been the most annoying part (IMHO) of the generally funny Punk'd, but at least he's been laying low long enough to be pleasantly inoffensive again. In fact, he looks pretty darn cute in these pics of him out in LA this weekend. Never one to stay quiet for too long, though, Ashton is about to hit the small screen again* to showcase his keen candid camera skills. Next month, NBC is premiering Ashton's new project, The Real Wedding Crashers, which, as you may have guessed from the title, is based on the movie and will be about improv actors going undercover at real weddings, though I assume it will be less about sleeping with random women. Awwww, I'm sure the happy couples will be so pleased to be a part of this...
* Yeaaah, it's probably best that he avoid the movie circuit -- remember how bad Guess Who was?
Gwen was hard at work in her trademark bleached blonde this weekend filming the video for her newest single, 4 in the Morning. There's no rest for Gwen, though, because she's about to kick off her US tour on April 21st. This pop star wife & mom loves to do it all, but we want to know - Which Gwen is your favorite?
If you trace Madonna's style, when she makes red carpet appearances and press tours, she has a rather classic look these days. I think with this collection she wanted to share her more sophisticated approach to clothes via beautifully draped dresses and classic pieces like trenches and feminine separates. Madonna's pizazz is delivered through sporty styling and metallic touches. Here are a couple of my favorites, including a sassy short sequin dress!
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
