Guess we now know why Drew and Cameron were heading out of LAX. The two are in Hawaii celebrating Drew's 32nd birthday! Drew is displaying her free-loving, fun-with-nature spirit that she always talks about. She tells Jane Magazine she got her wood-nymphy ways from her dad. While he wasn't the best father in the world she says she's glad that she has someone in her life who's such a free spirit. Here's more:

“My dad was a free bird and didn’t want to be a dad—he was gone from the start. Somehow I grasped that as a kid and didn’t hate him for it. I still don’t. I loved the way he was such a lover of things. I would visit him, and he’d talk about how when he went on his 4 a.m. walk, he could feel the blades of grass under his feet and could tell which ones were broken. When he said that, it brought up an emotion of, ‘I’m just glad there’s someone in the world like this—a real free spirit.’ Even though he was a hippie, he was a f*ckin’ rascal. I like that combination because I can only take peace and meditation for so long. I want a little bit of mischievousness.”

When in Florida live like the Floridians do, eh Justin? JT was looking every bit the FL retiree while on a break from his tour in Tampa this week. Maybe he got in a few good rounds of golf before setting up shop on the roof topless, hot as hell, and with a new lady friend who looks to be spending more than a little time with the pop prince this week. I feel your pain, Mischa. The OC ended last night (tear), and though Marissa was killed off last season and barely mentioned in last night's finale (a locket just doesn't do one of the show's main characters justice, folks), it must have been a little sad to see it go. So, sitting in her car with a new male friend (if it's romantic, way to upgrade, girl) smoking a something or other (she rolls her own cigarettes, Paris style, obvs) seems like a logical way to escape the the show that made me famous got cancelled so I can't even be the girl who used to be on the OC anymore and my little sister is in rehab blues.

Being a mom I can't get enough of these two but I can see how some of you may be sick of the weekly progress of Violet Affleck's child development. By now you know she is walking and has a bunch of teeth. She clearly loves her playtime with mom at the park. While this may be boring to some, it's definitely more beautiful than the recent train wreck we are witnessing with our fav pop star so we're happy to take a break from the drama to witness something normal and adorable.
