Mischa spent some time the other day with her freshly-sprung-from-rehab little sister Hania and their cute pups. Hopefully Mischa will be a good influence and help keep her sis out of trouble (and while she's at it maybe convince the girl to get rid of those red polka-dot stockings). Even though we recently spied Mischa smoking a joint, the starlet says she'd rather stay home with a good book than hit the clubs. In fact, she said:

"I know I look the part and people used to come up to me in the street and talk to me as if I was a crazy party girl. But I don't go out clubbing because that whole scene is too claustrophobic"

"I'm always being associated with the other girls, but we're not in the same crowd and it seems strange that just because we're all young actresses, people should lump us together. I have only met Paris once, and that was in passing. That said, it's true that I am friendly with Nicole Richie, and I also know her father Lionel. But you know people see young celebrities at the same parties and assume that we all know each other.

"I actually spend my evenings with a good book. Dostoevsky and John Steinbeck are my favourite authors and I'm currently reading Paulo Coelho's The Alchmist."

Before spending some quality time in the salon getting back (perhaps only for a moment) to her firey hair, Lohan stopped off at Dior to squeeze in some shopping in a firey outfit. Seriously, is it just me or is this the cutest Linds has looked in a while? Perhaps this life change (Yes, I know, she's still out every night. Think happy thoughts.) really is doing her good.

Vanessa may be on the outs at MTV, but it doesn't look like she'll be hurting for work. As the new Bongo girl Vanessa showed off in a simple tank and jeans at the launch party for the spring 2007 campaign. She was also signed on to be a Guest Creator for Flirt! Cosmetics. As if that weren't enough the former Miss Teen USA will supposedly be one of the judges at the Miss USA pageant in March. The way offers are obviously pouring in, it looks like Vanessa will be around for quite awhile (and not just as the pretty thing on Nick's arm)!

In case you hadn't heard (in which case, don't follow Leto much, do ya?) Jared Leto had to gain 60 odd lbs. for his role in Chapter 27, the upcoming film about John Lennon's assassination. Fortunately for all of us (for comedy at least...okay it's mostly gross), Leto agreed to have his progress and subsequent weight loss documented by Purple Magazine. It's pretty sick, and not in the cool way.

Meanwhile, you know that story from the weekend about Jared breaking his nose while running into the audience during one of his concerts? Turns out he maybe sustained the injury when attempting to crowd surf...the problem being no one caught him and he landed face down on the ground. Ego ouch and face ouch. Very, very ouch.

Jen continued to spend her time away from the set in Vancouver at the park with her two favorite people, Ben and Violet. Little Violet looks thrilled to be the center of her parents' universe and we certainly understand why they are so enamored with her. It doesn't get any cuter than this, folks!
