J Lo and Marc helped kick-off the Super Bowl this weekend performing at the Ocean Drive/Market America Super Bowl Bash. As you can see, the couple put on quite a show. Along with the love from her husband, she will be getting a special recognition on Valentine's Day. She's going to receive the Artists for Amnesty award for her work in Bordertown. Here's more:

Jennifer Lopez will receive an award for her work as producer and star of a film examining the murders of hundreds of women in a Mexican border town, Amnesty International officials said Friday.

Lopez will receive the Artists for Amnesty award Feb. 14 at the Berlin Film Festival from Nobel Peace Prize winner Jose Ramos-Horta. The film "Bordertown" will make its debut Feb. 15 at the festival.

"Since first hearing of these atrocities in 1998, when Gregory Nava came to me with this project, I desperately wanted to tell this story," Lopez said. "I began working to ensure we made this film in order to bring the attention of the world to this tragedy and to pressure the Mexican government to bring to justice those responsible for these horrible crimes."

Jessica Simpson, off the tour, into the salon, darker-haired and all, was out in LA this weekend. Looks like she was feeling a bit frisky (or messing with the photogs?) while high-tailing into Hyde, for cookies, I assume. We were gushing over how cute Jen and Violet were last week, so much so that you all thought Jen should hurry up and have another one. Many of you even thought Violet looks just like her mommy. While Jen was making the rounds for her latest movie, Catch and Release, she spoke about how wonderful it was to have time off to just be a mom. Here's more:

Q: What was it like having that time away from your career?

A: Well, you know, it's kind of been heaven. All of the above. After "Alias," of course, I was terrified and didn't know if I was going to hate having time on my own and fall apart, or if I was going to embrace it. And really I have to say, having a baby fills your life in such a way that no matter what you're doing, there's something bigger. Whether you're working or not, you care more about your own life. I've just been in heaven being with her the past year.

Q: Did having a baby make you think of your own mother?

A: Of course, yeah. Now I call her and say, "You know all the dinners you made that I said 'No' to and ate peanut butter instead?" Now I say, "I get it, Mom." You know, I slaved over roasting this and making that, and she's "No, no, no."

Tom and Katie flew to South Beach to check out J Lo and Marc perform together at a Pre-Super Bowl party thrown by Ocean Drive Magazine. General admission tickets were not cheap for the event, which started at $1,500. Apparently it was worth the price since Tom and Katie were seen dancing up a storm. Fergie kicked off the event, where Katie was seen as "quite the dancer!" The couple brought along Connor who stayed out until 2am partying the night away.

Drew Barrymore and her similarly newly-single friend Cameron Diaz hit the NYC clubs post-SNL. The almost-cougars looked pret-ty smoking out on the town and probably (if they were so inclined) were able to score themselves any man-meat they set their eyes on. Sure, that's total speculation, but on a more pertinent note, how unrecognizable is Drew with the totally straightened hair? Weird.
