Brad and Angelina have settled, for the moment at least, in New Orleans as planned. The couple enrolled Maddox in a local school, so perhaps they'll let him at least finish out the year before their next big trip. Don't they just look so normal dropping Mad off at school? Almost. Brad recently opened up to Newsweek about the effects of family on his acting career. Here's more:
When I started I had this idea that the films I did defined me, and that my life would be interesting based on the characters I'd chosen. I don't feel that way anymore. I'm a father now. There are other things that are important to me. I was chasing something that wasn't fulfilling. I caught myself on the phone the other day—Leo has been playing some real strong men these last few years—and I found myself saying, "I want to play more of a man." I got off the phone and I thought, "No. Live like a man, and the movies will follow."
I think what he meant to say is "Live like Angelina's man, and the paparazzi will follow." That just makes so much more sense.

Cameron is clearly having a great time in Hawaii. When we see her like this it's hard to believe that she really blew up at Justin just over a week ago for flirting with Jessica Biel after the Golden Globes. Now more details have emerged about Cameron's jealous rage when she saw the two together. Here's more:
“Cameron was across the room giving them the evil eye,” says a party source. “It was like high school.”
Another witness says that pal Drew Barrymore even attempted to distract Diaz from her ex’s hookup-in-progress with Biel, “grabbing Cameron to dance, trying to make her have fun.”
“All of a sudden she just lost it,” says one of the many witnesses to the tantrum of Diaz. “She came up and started yelling at Jessica.”
According to a witness, Biel, 24, stepped away, leaving Diaz, 34, to unleash her fury on Timberlake, 25, who moved with her into a hallway.
Says a guest, “First she started saying all these nasty things to him about Jessica like, ‘What is she? Your new f—king girlfriend? Look at her!’ And then she insinuated things about other guys that Jessica has been with.”
The tirade went on for 45 minutes, until Barrymore finally intervened. Says a source, “Drew had to grab Cameron and say, ‘It’s enough.’”
Oof. Doesn't sound pretty but we understand how losing JT could incite hysteria in just about anyone. It's a good thing that Cammie got out of Hollywood for a bit. There's nothing like a famous, hot surfer boy to take your mind off a bad break-up.
Katie Holmes may be in Paris to attend this week's Couture shows with Victoria Beckham, but that doesn't mean she can't use a little more fashion education. After doing a little shopping for Suri, Katie hit up a Paris bookstore and, from the looks of it, she bought some picture books on fashion. Maybe she learned the tough lesson that in a French bookstore, the word-based books will primarily be written in French.
I can't blame her for wanting to brush up on her Couture intellect. She's only been involved in the high fashion (and high celebrity) world for a couple of years, after all. Little Joey Potter who only wore Abercrombie and Fitch* would never dream of becoming a front row runway show kind of gal.
*In case you can't tell, I sometimes have trouble keeping actors and their characters separated in my head. Please forgive.
Christina Ricci, Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Timberlake are all at Sundance to promote Black Snake Moan, or, as I like to call it, The Weirdest Freaking Movie of All Time, For Real, Watch The Trailer and Then Get Back to Me On Whether It Makes Sense/What Genre It Even Is (yeah, my name for it is a mouthful, let's just stick with the real title). While the film may confuse, befuddle and bewilder me a little bit, the stars all look pretty great in the portrait studio. Though, to be fair, I'm not sure JT is a "star" so much as "in a couple scenes."

Renée's been getting lots of press for her new movie Miss Potter; she scored a Golden Globe nod and will grace the cover of February's Vogue. She dishes about her intrigue for Beatrix Potter's life, her love for animals, and her desire for adventure. Renée emphasizes how important it is to know who you are and to love yourself. Here's more:
She is grateful that she doesn't see her work as being "contingent on the way people define beauty." And although she knows it is easy for her to say now, she doesn't think that growing older will trouble her, either.
"I don't care. I don't want to spend my life not liking who I am. I want to become more of a person as I get older and not more disapproving of the person that I am."
Is this, I ask, a good moment in her life?
"Oh, yeah! I mean, they're all good. Even when they're bad. I'm perpetually learning."
Sounds like Renée is a wise woman with a good head on her shoulders. It's always nice to see a celebrity who seems down to earth. To see the full article with Renée dressed up as a Victorian lady, just read more
