Eva spent some time overseas this week opening the Harrods Winter Sale in London. In fact, she seems to be spending quite a lot of time in Europe these days. That may have something to do with Tony, who was raised in France. The couple spent some time there this fall and now Eva is working hard to learn her love's native language. He, however, isn't giving her much help. Here's more:

"He's terrible. He always wants to speak English," Longoria, 31, told PEOPLE Thursday while in London to open the annual Harrods Winter Sale. "I try to remind him but he always forgets and says it's easier and faster to speak English, but I want to understand."

She decided to master French the hard way – in a classroom. "I couldn't speak French before Tony. All I knew how to say was, 'My name is Eva.' I went to a Berlitz French school this summer, doing about five hours a day."

And how is her French now? "Great!"

Longoria spent Christmas in her home state of Texas and will be back in the U.S. for a quiet Dec. 31. "Nothing is planned for New Year's Eve," she said. "Tony plays that date so I'll be watching, sitting at a Spurs' game."

Lindsay is researching stripping for her latest movie "I Know Who Killed Me." Just last week she complained that she was beating herself up for the role and called them all whores. The strippers retaliated saying LL would be a crappy stripper but now it looks like they are all friends. Lindsay hit Scores after going to Bungalow 8 and Stereo where she made friends with the ladies. In fact they all danced together and are now all playing nice. Page Six reports:

"I love strippers," the 20-year-old actress gushed as she entered the famed mammary mecca at 12:30 a.m., and launched into a half-hour deejay shift during the club's "Turntable Tuesdays."

Next, "She got up on the stripper pole and began to dance with the Scores Girls with 400 customers cheering her on," said our source. "Then, she joined her entourage of 15 in the VIP area, and got lap dances from many of the girls, including a special double-dance from two strippers at once.

"It was hot. But while everybody was drinking, Lindsay was not. It was strictly Perrier for her."

.....But yesterday she humbly apologized to several of the Scores girls - and they accepted her meaculpa with open arms.

Katia, a blond, 34D-25-33 knockout, told us, "She was big tipper, and I think that she is great."

Brooke, an impressive 34C-24-34, added, "She'll make a good stripper - she's a natural."

Awww, how sweet. Looks like the holiday spirit is spreading. And we love that Lindsay was supposedly sticking to bubbly water. Good girl LL!

Yes these images are from the weekend (which in our world means they are old) but we didn't want to see them go to waste - especially with the slow news week. Anyway, here is 13 year old Ali Lohan celebrating her holiday album and birthday in NYC. She looks so cute and innocent. Let's hope she can maintain her innocence throughout her teens. Ali has huge potential following in her sister's acting and singing footsteps but let's just hope she can avoid the drinks, drugs, crotch shots and hospitals unlike the rest of young Hollywood.

Kid Rock may be going through a messy divorce but that didn't leave him feeling bitter this Christmas. He decided to spend time to cheer up the troops. He evidently wanted to set a good example for his son by giving back this holiday season. You can bet the troops were happy to see him! He even blogged about it. Here's highlights according to Kid:

• "This year for Christmas I wanted to make sure somebody was thanking our troops for their service, no matter what our views are on the current situation in Iraq. I could be spending Christmas with my family, but in my heart I know this is the right thing to do - not only for our men and women in service, but also to set an unselfish example for my son and send a strong message to the world to be thankful and think of others at Christmas time."
• Long day, Dec 24th. Sang and signed autographs for 16 hours! Had one of the most thrilling rides of my life in a Blackhawk today with some real "rock n roll cowboy pilots"!! I never knew you could do things like we did in a helicopter!!

  Visited 3 different camps in Iraq, met lots of troops. Played my guitar and sang some songs for 'em, old school style through shitty speakers and no mic stand (so people had to hold the mic while I sang!!) Pretty funny, but it worked out...

• I can't express how much it means to these men and women to have a slice of home come visit them. If you're in a position to do this, please really think about going to visit our soldiers. It will never be convenient, so just make time and do it. Not only does it mean so much to them, it is also one of the most rewarding and insightful moments you will have in your life. Remember, as people with talent and such good fortune in life, it is our military that allows us to express ourselves freely. Always hold them high in your heart and spirit.

  A lot of soldiers said "have a beer for me Rock when you get home" and I will without a doubt honor those requests!!

Don't look for Paris to be in the States this New Year's Eve. She just arrived in Sydney this morning with enough luggage to last her a year. It seems, however, she is only staying less than a week. The heiress has been hired to launch Bondi Blonde beer which includes judging a bikini contest on New Year's Day. Here's more:

Looking relaxed and happy in a casual black and white striped top and jaunty cap, the heiress arrived ahead of a string of parties organised by Singleton to launch Bondi Blonde.

Launch Management Group publicist Antonia O'Neill confirmed that Singleton had secured Hilton's services for an undisclosed fee.

Organisers are expecting the notorious party girl show up on Bondi Beach on new year's day to select a bikini babe to be the face of the beer after spending the night enjoying new year's fun somewhere in Sydney.

"We'll be taking good care of her on new year's eve,'' Ms O'Neill told AAP.

"We are sure Sydney's hottest parties will want to let us know what they have planned to see if the world's biggest party girl will want to attend.''

They won't disclose the amount but earlier on we heard Paris was charging $100,000 and a private jet for her New Year's Eve services. Paris really has made a career out of partying - it's amazing! Coco got an extra special treat for Christmas this year, but it wasn't one you could fit under the tree. Courteney and David took her to Disneyland. It looks like she had a blast in Fantasyland, but she doesn't look too sure about the merry-go-round. Luckily Daddy David is right there for support. We just can't stand how cute Coco is getting. It's nice to see Courteney smiling as well! We can't wait to catch her new show in less than a week. Reminder to all, Dirt is on FX January 2nd.
