Sarah Michelle is still hard at work on the set of her latest film The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing. She hit the streets of NY the other day with a fabulous Prada bag and black leather pants. Her character is obviously every bit the New Yorker, which is a good thing in Sarah's book. She says she gravitates toward strong female roles and is very happy that she's able to pick and choose her movies right now. Here's more:

Sarah seemed to be relishing her strong new look, complete with brunette hair-do, and adds that she likes playing feisty female roles. "I've always been fascinated with Asian movies. I love that women can play a lead. There are still only certain film genres where a woman can stand out and be heroic, be the centrepiece."
The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star says she's been enjoying shooting a range of films, since she left the popular TV show. "We joke that I'm a professional commitment phobe right now. Eight years of my life I knew what I was doing and it was very planned. I chose my movies based on hiatuses and didn't choose them based on whether I was dying to do it. The first thing I'm learning right now is that I can really wait until there's something I really want to be a part of and I want to do."
And it looks like Sarah has plenty of roles to choose from. She has two more films lined up after this one. For more pics just read more
Lance showed up to support his buddy for the LA premiere of We Are Marshall. You'd think that Matthew would be tired of going to all these premieres, but it's quite the opposite. Matthew loves to go out. So much so that he just topped InTouch Weekly's list of Hollywood's Biggest Party Animals. Most stars might be offended by this, but Matthew loves that he was named The Life of the Party. He says:

"I earned that one. I like to get there (party) early and I like to be the last to leave - especially if you have some good music and good company." The star believes the secret to ultimately capturing the title is all down to his smooth moves on the dance floor. He adds, "I've probably spent I don't know how many thousands of dollars paying bands to keep playing and paying clubs to stay open, saying, `Can you just play five more songs?' And if it's a charity event or something and you can go, `OK, a thousand bucks for every song you keep playing.' "I've woken up the next morning and said, 'Whoa - my pockets are empty!'"

Nicole is getting a ton of criticism since admitting to popping pills and smoking pot before driving this week, but she has some people quickly jumping to her defense. Her dad's good friend and legend Quincy Jones is speaking up about the incident. He just thinks Nicole is caught up in the peer pressure of Hollywood and says he adores Nicole. People reports:

"You get caught up in the peer pressure and the hoopla – it's a media frenzy. It's insane. Success doesn't help," Jones, 73, told PEOPLE Thursday at a benefit performance of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy's new musical, The Bayou Legend, in Los Angeles. "Processing success is a major, major, major process."
Jones, who has seven kids – six of them daughters – added, "I try to tell the young kids there are two cardinal rules: You should approach creativity with humility and have your success with grace. It's a gift from God. You don't deserve it. You are a vehicle of a higher power. Don't abuse it."
But Jones remembers a time when life really was simpler for the Simple Life star. "I adore Nicole," he said. "I've known her since she was a baby. She's a very smart girl. When she was younger she worked eight hours a day for eight years to become an Olympic figure skater. She's a very talented girl."
We think the pressure in Hollywood is worse than ever these days. Hopefully Nicole gets healthier soon and realizes there are ways to be famous and beautiful without hurting one's self. It's nice to see Nicole is getting around again since her arrest on Monday without hiding under sheets each time. She was spotted looking lovely leaving Andrea Lieberman Jewelry Collection For Mouawad trunk show. Notice Nicole isn't driving? More pics so read more
Our favorite possibly engaged couple were at a Current TV event with Al Gore last night. The twosome didn't seem to leave each other's side. Rachel seems to be sporting a new look with pink stripes in her hair. We're not sure why but it doesn't matter - Rachel can do no wrong in our eyes. She still looks adorable.

We just heard Britney was making plans to spend less time with Paris, but the twosome found their way back together last night. Britney, Paris and Lindsay were all reunited along with Matthew Perry, Nick Cannon, Hayden Panettiere and many more. Kind of seems like a random mix. Anyway, the celebs were at Area to celebrate the holidays and party planner Brent Bolthouse's birthday. Apparently after the party Britney's quick fling JR Rotem was acting all flirty with Hayden and Ashley Tisdale.

We so don't want cute Hayden to fall into the party girl Hollywood trap, but it's sounding like the young girl is doing just that. More pics including LB's Jason Wahler and Heidi Montag, Danny Masterson, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kimberly Stewart, Beau Bridges and Snoop Dogg so read more
How cute is Kingston with his little fauxhawk? The kid just won't quit! And we love how Gwen and Gavin just take him everywhere they go so we get to see him all the time. Gwen said soon after Kingston was born she realized he had the kind of temperament that would allow her go back to work. She said some other cute things about her son. Here's highlights:

- "He's generally an easy, cool guy; he's busy and he's having a lot of fun," she said. "He makes everything so much fun. I'm nursing, so he's around me the whole time, and he definitely balances me out. It was fun before, but now it's fun in a whole different kind of way. Normally, I would get more rest, but I figure I can rest later."
- "In five years, he'll be in school, and in five years, I'll be in my 40s," said Stefani, 37. "So I'm doing what I can right now. If you saw me in my day-to-day life, you'd see my work and my career [are] all fun, pretty much. I don't go off to work without him. Right now, he's to my left, and my stylist is holding him and he's got his little stuffed animal lamb. If we were at home, I'd be playing with him, that's why I'm so lucky. If I had to leave him at day care and go to work, I never would have finished this record."
- "I thought I could maybe miss an amazing opportunity, and I think anybody in my position would do the same thing," she says. "I'm blessed with such an incredible guy."
It looks like Gwen made the right decision in putting out her album. The Sweet Escape debuted at number three on The Billboard 200! For more pics just read more
