Britney did her presto-chango act the other night and we think it's a good thing. Her friend in the Thriller shirt saved us all from yet another crotch shot so I'd like to personally thank whoever her friend is. However, the party girl lifestyle is getting her into heaps of trouble. Brit's family is shocked and embarrassed about all of the recent photos without her underwear. They are also worried that she has been shirking her parental duties. She's apparently been staying in hotels with Paris instead of going home to Sean and Jayden. And not only are her parents worried but the Department of Children & Family Services is getting involved as well. Here's highlights:

• A source close to the singer said, "The department has been calling Britney trying to set up a meeting with her, so they can check on [Spears' baby sons Sean Preston and Jaden James]. The calls started after this recent bout of bizarre public behavior."
  But they are not the only ones worried about Spears.
• The family source said her mother, Lynne, "is very disturbed and has been trying to get a hold of Britney, but she can't. Lynne, Britney's brother, Brian, and her dad, Jamie, are very upset and are trying to stage an intervention with [Spears' manager] Larry Rudolph's help."
  A rep for the Department of Children & Family Services in L.A. didn't return calls.
• Us Weekly reports that father Jamie recently had a stern talk with his Britney. The magazine notes, "He was not happy with her antics . . . He told her that she's a grown woman and needs to act like one, and she's been making bad decisions."

That's for sure. This would be the second time social workers have been called out to check on Britney, the first being Sean P falling out of his high chair and hitting his head. Then there was also the driving incident. Brit really needs to get on the ball. K-Fed can use all of this in court against her to try to get full custody. This is not the time to be out partying! Hopefully someone will get through to her before it's too late.

It has been confirmed that Tom and Katie are having a lavish wedding party. Tom's partner Paula Wagner is planning a party for December 9th at her mansion in Beverly Hills. All those friends and family members who didn't attend the Italian wedding will now have their chance to celebrate the big day with Mr. and Mrs. Cruise. US Weekly reports:

The party is fresh on the heels of the couple's 13-day honeymoon. The new Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cruise spent November 19 to December 1 in the Maldives on the Arctic P, a yacht with an onboard doctor (for Suri) and spa therapist.

"It was a family occasion," says a source. "They played with Suri all the time, filming her on a camcorder." On Thanksgiving, the group visited a Fesdu Island resort where, says a source, "they sunbathed by the pool, read philosophy books and went snorkeling in the lagoon. Later, they took Suri for a swim."

Can't wait to hear about all of the details of what is sure to be a fabulous party. I wonder what Katie will wear this time. In the meantime, Katie is cruising around town trying to keep Suri undercover but proudly showing off her huge ring.

Paris has been hitting all the clubs with Britney, but she's also been playing nanny to Sean P too. Now we're learning that not only does Paris like to play house with Brit, but she wants four kids of her own... and all before the age of 30. Look out Stavros...she may forget to take her pill today so she can make her dreams come true. Here's more:

“It’s been my dream to have four babies by 30,” the 25-year-old heiress announced, reports Life & Style Weekly. And Hilton thinks she’s highly qualified for motherhood, explaining: “I look after animals, so I’d have a lot to give my kids.”

In fact, looking after kiddies has become so appealing to Hilton that she recently cut short a night out with Spears, announcing to friends, “We’re going home to the babies. We miss them.”

So LL wants an Oscar before 30 and Paris wants four kids? Not so sure playing house with Brit and taking good care of Tinkerbell is setting up Paris to be a good mom. Paris was spotted shopping at the Kitson Kids store in West Hollywood. Maybe she's picking up Christmas presents for Brit's little boys. For more pics just read more

Lindsay has been trying to take it easy and not go out so much while attending AA meetings, but she did attend Stella McCartney's Christmas event last night. Kanye, Alicia Silverstone, Rose McGowan (can you even recognize her, seriously, what happened to her?) and others joined LL for the Christmas window lighting event at Stella's store in Beverly Hills. Lindsay sure looks festive in her cute green dress but we think it's better to see her somewhere other than Hyde.

Looks like Orlando and Kirsten have more in common than just acting. They are both interested in art, at least when a charity is involved! Over the weekend Kirsten got artsy for kids at The Art of Elysium Art Benefit in LA. And this week Orlando hosted an unveiling of personal artwork he and others did for the Netflix "Big Reveal" Holiday Program. Here's more:

Netflix, Inc., the world's largest online movie rental service, and Martin Scorsese's non-profit organization, The Film Foundation, unveiled special holiday editions of the Netflix trademark red envelope featuring original artwork by some of Hollywood's most prominent filmmakers and actors, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron, Peter Jackson, Orlando Bloom, and Mr. Scorsese himself.

The special envelopes containing Netflix subscribers' DVD rentals [began being mailed out Monday]. As part of the partnership, Netflix has made a donation in support of The Film Foundation's efforts in film preservation and film education.
