Anna Wintour joined Renee and Ewan for the NY premiere of Miss Potter over the weekend. Renee is looking fabulous lately while promoting her new film. She seems to have traded in her stick thin figure for a more healthier one. Maybe the underfed look is on its way out. LL is no longer too thin, and even Nicole is working on gaining her weight back (of course, they both have their share of other problems to deal with). And Anna herself is even joining the cause. She's already called a meeting with the leaders of the fashion industry to discuss how to deal with the issue. Here's more:
Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour is spearheading the effort to get the session together. "Anna held a symposium on the issue, and she's planning another meeting this week," said one model agency chief. "We would much rather come up with a way of self-policing ourselves than have regulations rammed down our throats."
The head of another modeling agency said, "Everyone should take a look at it, and if there's a problem, let's fix it."
Italy's government and its fashion chiefs said last week they're working on a plan to crack down on ultra-thin models who appear to be suffering from eating disorders.
The move came three months after Spain passed a law requiring that every model have a body-mass index of at least 18 (a measure of body fat). Last month, Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston died at age 21 from anorexia.

Victoria split with Rock & Republic this fall so she could come out with her own fashion line. However now she's suing them because she feels her line made them more money than she previously estimated. Here's more:
The star claims Rock & Republic owe her the massive sum for "loss of earnings" and is briefing lawyers for legal action against the trendy LA-based label.
Her legal team are considering whether to launch a claim for up to 100million US dollars within days, either in the High Court in London or the United States.
A legal source said: "With the company based in the US, this is likely to be a long-running and complex legal battle if no agreement can be reached."
The star's agreement with the fashion firm, owned by designer Michael Ball, began when she signed up with them in September 2004. The deal is believed to have included a share of profits. It is claimed Victoria has so far been paid more than £500,0000.
She asked lawyers to get involved because she now believes her jeans range was much more profitable than previously thought.

Matt took some time to sign autographs on his way to a press junket in NY the other day. His latest film, The Good Shepherd, is due out December 22nd and has an all star cast including Robert De Niro and Angelina Jolie. In the film, Matt plays an intelligence agent who puts his work above all else, even his wife and son. In real life, however, Matt is quite the opposite. He says he loves being a daddy to his six month old Isabella. Here's more:
Admitting that the overall feeling is, "Great, great. That's been just amazing," Damon....says that fatherhood "defies description, actually. I don't really know how to talk about it, because I don't really know – I feel like I got made a member of a club that I didn't know existed."
"I didn't think that this would happen to me," Damon continued. "Other people were always showing me baby pictures or trying to hand me the baby, and I was like, 'Get that thing away from me. I don't want to touch your kid. Give me a break.' But I'm totally into it now."
At first, the "scared" actor was "kind of excited for my daughter to be 2. I was excited for her to start kind of talking and walking and toddling around hanging out, but I didn't realize how much personality little people have right off the bat. So it's just been fun."
His favorite activity with his daughter, he said, is getting her to laugh. "You do this thing where you can either give her (a raspberry) on the stomach or if you sort of act like you're going to munch her underarm, and she laughs like a little machine gun. And it's like I could do it forever."

Heather and David hung out all summer on the beaches of California, but with the end of summer came an end to their summer romance. It's now looking like these two are back to being more than just friends. David and Heather were spotted vacationing in Honolulu over the weekend. The two enjoyed playing golf together as well as running all around each other with their own lei. They're looking pretty cute and content so who knows what is next for these special friends.

Paris and Britney have been attached at the hip since Brit left K-Fed. Thanks to ex-husband #1, people were also starting to assume that the duo may be more than just friends. Paris wants everyone to know that just because Britney spends the night at her house doesn't mean there's something going on between them. Her rep said, “That is just silly. They are friends and you will continue to see them together. Paris thinks the world of her.” We are siding with Paris on this one. After all, Britney was just spotted on a date kissing a new boy. Rachel and Ryan are one of our favorite couples. They were supposedly secretly engaged in 2005 and there were also rumors that Ryan was ring shopping this time last year but nothing ever happened. That said, whenever we hear engagement rumors on these two we jump all over it. Apparently they might even tie the knot over New Year's. Life & Style reports:
“Ryan didn’t have to repropose,” says the insider. “He and Rachel just agreed it was time to think about getting married again because they had worked out their problems. Ryan says he’s thrilled that Rachel is wearing her engagement ring again, which Ryan gave her early in 2005. It was always a secret engagement, and they will never confirm it publicly, but it’s back on, and they’re happy again, planning some family vacations together and doing the private-party rounds to support Ryan’s role in Half Nelson.”
The insider says the lovebirds aren’t interested in a high-profile wedding and instead are planning a very small elopement.
“Ryan says they’re looking for a good time to slip away and do it,” says the insider, “and he’s even said New Year’s might be the perfect time for him and Rachel to make things permanent. Starting a family and sharing their lives together is so much more important to them than which magazine they can sell their wedding pictures to.”
We hope these rumors are true. They looked so super cute when spotted in Toronto together in these pics back in October. And since their kiss will never get old to me check out the cute kissing couple at the MTV Movie Awards displaying their love for all of us to enjoy!
