Kate was caught leaving a bar in London yesterday without her engagement ring! She told Pete that if he did drugs again she wouldn't marry him. It doesn't really look like she's sticking to her threat. At least not yet. She may not be wearing her ring but she's evidently shelling out lots of cash to help him kick his habit. Here's more:

The supermodel was furious when Pete was arrested in East London last week on suspicion of possession of crack cocaine, and promptly paid for a week of treatment at a clinic in Portugal.
Part of that treatment included an anti-heroin implant, inserted in to his abdomen - a tactic that Pete has tried before. With each implant costing £600, in addition to travel fees and clinic expenses, Kate is estimated to have spent several thousand pounds on cleaning Pete up.
Onlookers observed that the Babyshambles frontman was not overly grateful for her efforts, however. Pete was allegedly seen slamming the phone down on Kate after a heated argument as he checked out of his hotel yesterday."
It's shocking to us that she continues to hold on. How many chances can she give him? Well, at least taking the ring off is a step in the right direction, even if it is just a ploy to get him in shape. For more pics of a ringless Kate just read more
While Hilary is keeping busy working on her current film PS I Love You with Harry Connick Jr., Chad Lowe is busy talking about how he will always love his ex-wife. He revealed details of their relationship to Extra last night and talked about everything from his past substance abuse to his special bond with Hilary. Here's highlights:

“It has been a tough year and not something I expected,” Lowe admitted. “It’s very humbling.”
One of the most humbling moments came this summer when his ex-wife divulged to Vanity Fair some of Chad’s most private struggles with substance abuse.
“I was disappointed that the details of our relationship became public fodder, because I think they were very personal,” Lowe said, adding, “They are absolutely true. I’ve been sober for three and half years and am very grateful for that.
“The one thing I do want to set straight is that I am so grateful to Hilary for her support of me in a very difficult time in my life three and a half years ago,” Chad continued. “What hurt me more than anything is that people would think she wasn’t there for me; and she was.”
Despite the divorce, Chad also dished to “Extra” that his bond with Hilary is unbreakable.
“She was the love of my life and that's not something you just shut off. I will always love her,” Chad admitted.
And it looks like things are going well for Chad. He's set to star on 24 next season and he's also directing and producing Beautiful Ohio with William Hurt and Michelle Trachtenberg. Looks like both of them are moving on, at least professionally. For more pics of Hilary and her castmate Harry Connick just read more
Vince is currently working hard in London on his latest movie, Fred Clause, but has a little side project going on back in the states as well. Apparently he just purchased a massive penthouse worth $9 million on Michigan Avenue, and an apartment worth $6 million below for his mom. Rumor is Jen has been there to check on the progress of the work being done to the units. She was recently there to visit Oprah. Here's more on the big purchase:

"Vaughn was in town a little over a week ago checking out the penthouse with a decorator," said a top Sneed source. "He wanted things sleek, but he wanted things large."
Vaughn was in and out in a matter of hours during the visit, dressed in jeans and a big smile. He had just returned from Northern Ireland, where he was filming a documentary on the neighborhoods in war-torn Belfast.
"The name on the lease is only his," the source said.
Sounds like Vince bought a huge penthouse that will have plenty of room for Jen and maybe even a family some day! Stay tuned... and in the meantime, more pics of Vince on the set in the UK so read more
Leonardo's is very picky about the films he makes. Maybe that's why before this year he hasn't been in one since The Aviator. Lucky for us - he's in two this year, The Departed and Blood Diamond. Apparently he is just as picky about his jewels as he is about his films. Recently he did a press junket for his latest film where he was asked whether his new film had changed his mind about diamonds. Here's more:

"Well, I don't remember the last time I have," he said. "My mom is the only person that I would buy something like that for, and for a while now she hasn't wanted one. But that isn't to say that people shouldn't buy them."
How can consumers make sure they're not buying conflict diamonds? "From my conversations with Global Witness or Amnesty International, you have to go into the stores and buy these diamonds and ask for a certificate, ask for some sort of authentication that this isn't a conflict diamond," he said. "That's one of the biggest ways that this whole process can be put to a stop."
He also said he and costar Djimon Hounsou spent a lot of time hanging out in muddy swamps while filming the movie. "We would sit there and talk about the different kinds of hot chocolates that you can get in Paris and the croissants. We'd sit there and dream like two weird women about pastries."

We were pretty shocked yesterday to hear that Pam and Kid had decided to call it quits. We really thought they were a good match for each other. They looked so in love for all their weddings and it looks like even their friends are shocked to hear the news. The sudden split made us think some bad event went down but it seems like a fight over Pam's role in Borat was the catalyst. Page Six reports:

... "Bob started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, 'You're nothing but a whore! You're a slut! How could you do that movie?' - in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing.
"Pam thought he could have a sense of humor about the movie. She was in on the gag from the very beginning and loved doing the movie. And on the eve of what was supposed to be a very positive thing, he made it an awful night.
"Ever since that night, it has been icicles between them," the friend relates. "Bob is just a very unhappy and angry man. Pam is very disenchanted and sad. You know, there are reasons why she never married him before. Those reasons disappeared while they were together on a boat in St. Tropez, but she knows now that they never went away. The reality is he is an insecure, angry man."
Is this really enough to split the couple apart? I mean check out these photos. They look amazing posing for GQ - like a match made in heaven. First she suffered a miscarriage, and now this. Hopefully they can work it out but in the meantime enjoy more fabulous pics of the couple during happier times so just read more
OK so I will admit it, I'm a sucker for weddings. Even though mine was years ago, I still get excited about dresses, flowers, invitations, etc. If it's wedding related, I'm all over it. So when I heard about ABC's new show Big Day, which is set up sort of like 24 in that the entire season chronicles the events of a couple's wedding day hour by hour (but without the tick tock clock), I was instantly intrigued. The question is, how can a wedding day be anywhere near as suspense-ridden as a bomb that is about to blow up the country? Well, certainly an all-out brawl between mother and daughter regarding Caesar salad and a bitter older sister who sleeps with the best man is just as exciting to some of us as a threat to national security.

The all-star cast includes Marla Sokoloff (The Practice) as Alice, the Bride to Be, sitcom veteran Wendie Malick (Just Shoot Me) as Jane, the Mother of the Bride and Kurt Fuller (Anger Management) as Steve, the Father of the Bride. The groom is super cute Josh Cooke (Four Kings). The writers of the show also wrote What Women Want and 13 Going on 30. I enjoyed the fun fast paced pilot episode and will definitely be tuning in to see where the rest of the season will go. We bet a lot of you must be asking what they will do next season after the couple is already married. Apparently the writers will plan to take us through other special family events like pregnancies, anniversaries or a graduation. Watch the first episode tonight at 9/8c on ABC.
