Looks like Ashton's show Beauty and the Geek has survived the WB/UPN merger, the CW. The network is bringing back the reality show in the new year! Ashton and his partner from Punk'd, Jason Goldberg, have created a goofy yet entertaining show pairing up eight beautiful but academically impaired women with eight nerdy brainiacs to test their intellect and social skills and to wait for love to ensue. You'd think that Ashton would be really excited about the whole thing. So why is he hiding from the cameras? Doesn't he know that when you go to places like Orzo there are always paparazzi there?

Britney has been causing quite a stir this week flashing the cameras while not wearing any underwear. While we won't post those pics here, we know you have seen them everywhere else. Even Rosie offered her help on The View. Rosie invited Brit to come live with her and begged Victoria's Secret to provide Britney with an unlimited supply of undergarments. Well, good news. It sounds like Britney found her way to the store and purchased some of those much needed undergarments. She was spotted at Le Bra Lingerie in LA picking up some goodies and spending a crazy amount of money. Here's more:
Despite persistent sightings of Brit's bare bits, she just spent more than $3000 on thongs and other fancy underthings at trendy Le Bra Lingerie boutique in West Hollywood, the place where Katie Holmes picked up her honeymoon unmentionables.
Spears charged up a camisole and thong for $1315, a bustier and thong for $510, a black corset and matching red thong for $300, and a yellow bra and thong for $333, among other things. So many thongs, so little time!
Britney, who's a 36C, came in with a female friend, tried on everything she bought and was overheard saying "I could live here." Perhaps she should.

It's so great that Ben is no longer the overexposed obnoxious celebrity anymore. He went on Ellen yesterday and you can just tell he is more humble. He tries not to talk too much about personal matters but he still talks like a man very much in love with his wife and daughter. He's a total family guy now and Ellen even asked him if he wanted more kids. She's really getting gutsy about her questions. First she asked Cameron when she was going to marry JT and now she wants to know how many kids Ben is planning on having. Here's more:
Ellen DeGeneres, broaching the topic with the 34-year-old actor on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, asks: "Will you have more? Should I ask that question?"
Affleck's response: "You know … sure, I would love to."
"Many? A lot?" DeGeneres wonders aloud, prompting Affleck to say, "Okay, let's back it up there."
Suggesting, however, that "some people" would want "five or six" kids and would "love to have a large family," DeGeneres is told by Affleck: "I think I should probably talk to my wife before I talk to you."
They also talked about Violet's upcoming first birthday and his plans to treat her mother well since her life has changed so much over the past year. Awww, how sweet. Jay-Z has lots to celebrate. His successful Rocawear clothing label, beautiful girlfriend Beyonce, and last week he had his best sales ever for Kingdom Come. He topped the charts, tying the Rolling Stones for the third most number one hits. Now that he has conquered the charts again, he is moving on to bigger and better things like doing good deeds. The rapper is concerned about the state of drinking water in third world countries. So much so that he invited MTV to follow him around on his recent trip to South Africa to gain awareness for the cause. Here are highlights:
"I was looking for a cause to attach myself to," he said. "I knew I was going to some places where there was problems and as soon as I came across the problems of water, and seen the numbers that were attached to it, I was like — this is it....Three people die every three minutes … from easily preventable diseases."
In the town of Luanda, Angola, he followed 14-year-old Bela, who must fetch and carry 40 pounds of water, twice a day. When he offered to help share the burden and carry the water on a one-half-mile trek, he was taken aback by the sheer strength that was required.
"It's not only 40 pounds … it's water so it moves," he said. "And the roads, they aren't paved. It's not like walking on perfectly paved Fifth Avenue. You're walking on rocks and it's a dirt road and the water is moving. I couldn't walk to the end of the block holding it. I had to switch hands about three times."
"It made me realize that as tough as we had it — and there are tough neighborhoods in the places that I grew up — but that's not the bottom," he said. "You know they say 'I'm from the bottom.' It's not really the bottom, because you have water, and roads [that] are paved, and you can go to school … You don't have to play out in open sewage. Now that's the 'hood."

Cameron is making the rounds in NYC promoting her movie The Holiday. We saw her on Ellen, leaving GMA and now TRL. Cammie and Kate Winslet will trade houses in the new film, and now Cameron has extended a real-life invite to Kate. The only thing is Kate would have to deal with a messy little guest room. Cameron said,
"She's always welcome! I don't know if she'll find the guest bed, there's so much stuff piled up on it. I'm a procrastinator, so it's hard for me to really get to the chores that I should be getting to, so everything goes right into the guest room and it just sort of piles up." The Charlie's Angel star insists her home is the perfect place for a getaway adding, "It's nice little pad for myself, I just love it. I like small spaces. I don't like big spaces. It's very earthy and grounded. It's cosy and small and intimate."
