Who knew the CMAs could bring as much entertainment as last week's European MTV Awards when Kanye showed us he's a poor loser? Check out Faith Hill as Carrie Underwood wins Female Vocalist of The Year. But Faith is insisting it was all just one big joke gone bad. You be the judge... Here's more:

"The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me," Hill said in a statement. "For this to become a focus of attention given the talent gathered is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving Female Vocalist of The Year."

Although her voice could not be heard, it was clear from her lips what she said. She looked visibly upset and then it looked as if she was storming off.

However, Hill said it was all a joke, and her manager, Gary Borman, echoed that: "I've worked with Faith for many years now and the idea that she would ever insult or undermine another artist, let alone another human being's success is absolutely preposterous. Those who know her know that she's incapable of such actions," he said in a statement.

"She was being playful while the nominations were being read and playful after."

I can't imagine Faith being serious about this but I do think she might have been shocked.

Kate and Pete seem to be trading careers these days. First Kate has her eyes on a music career and now Pete has got himself a modeling gig. He has evidently agreed to model clothes for cult fashion label Gio-Goi, including this little number that says drug free. How's that for an ironic t-shirt? Here's more:

[Pete] will wear the brand's exclusive designs at a planned gig in a secret London location before Christmas.

Gio-Goi, which dresses members of the music industry such as The Streets, Arctic Monkeys or the Paddingtons, in a statement called Doherty the inspiration behind its rock 'n roll spring/summer 2007 collection.

"Peter looks fantastic as a model," Gio-Goi co-founder Anthony Donnelly said. "We are very excited ... we look forward to having Pete's influence as a rock icon in the design process."

I don't know if fantastic is the adjective I would use but sober is a start and he seems to be looking better these days. Hopefully he'll actually do as he is advertising.

The Country Music Awards were last night and even some non-country folk like Bon Jovi came to support the show. The big winners of the night were Kenny Chesney, Dolly Parton, American Idol star Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban (who was MIA in rehab - hopefully on his way to recovery). Britney Spears did a short stop by on Letterman last night to show off her new body and WOW! Nice work Britney! She also had the new popular Posh-like bob. It was a quick hello before making sure to show off her legs and do a little spin for us. Yeah Britney! Welcome back babe.

Looks like someone was having a blast celebrating their big day. Matthew McConaughey is currently down under filming Fool's Gold with Kate Hudson. In fact this explains his scruffy, unshaven homeless guy look. However he's playing some sort of treasure hunter and Kate Hudson's husband so we're not really sure why he has to wear that nasty beard. Anyway, the co-stars took a break to celebrate MM's 37th birthday this weekend and as you can see by the pictures he had quite a good time. Here's more:

The party started on Friday night when the famously relaxed McConaughey met some of the film's cast and crew for drinks at the Iron Bar hotel. Hudson made her way from her exclusive beachfront apartment to the bar with a woman who appeared to be her bodyguard. It wasn't long before [Matthew] was at the bar, shouting a round of drinks for the entire pub.

"It's Matthew McConaughey's birthday," the barman said.

"Go wish him a happy birthday, he's just bought you a drink."

Mobbed by people taking up the invitation, McConaughey gladly shook hands and had a chat to anyone who came up to him.

"It's my birthday. I just turned 37," he said.

By 1am he was in the front row of the dance floor, leading one of the most energetic dances the normally sedate town has seen.

I think it's safe to say that it looks like one of the more energetic dances anybody has ever seen. On a side note, we actually feel the need to apologize to Matthew for giving him such a hard time about his facial hair. We didn't realize it was for a role. We just thought he was letting himself go. However, we are excited to know that one day we will see MM clean-shaven once again!

While dad Brad was busy back home with Babel, Angelina and Maddox are getting a lot of quality mother son bonding in. I wonder where Zahara and Shiloh are while these two were off on their little trip? Maddox is still so bad ass - love that he is sporting his cute Vans!
