The cast and crew of Scrubs celebrated their 6th Season Premiere last night at the Esquire House in Beverly Hills. And despite rumors that this might be Zach's final season, NBC is feeling very confident about the show. So confident that they are putting it up against Grey's Anatomy on Thursday nights.
While most producers would be totally terrified, head honcho Bill Lawrence seems to be keeping his sense of humor about the whole thing. He says, "If NBC is counting on 'Scrubs' then they are sh*t out of luck my friend. First of all, I am a huge TV fan -- Thursday night on NBC should be comedy. Secondly, we're going to think of something to name Zach Braff's character like McSomething -- McWeenie or McCheesy or something." I guess Dr. Cox won't be short of nicknames for JD this season. We like that NBC is going back to their roots with Thursday night comedies but it's going to be hard to choose between Grey's, The OC and Scrubs. The season premiere is November 30th at 9/8 central. After playing the love interest to Zach Braff in The Last Kiss, Rachel has moved on to another cute costar Hayden Christensen. The two are currently filming in Rome together, but we're betting they were left off Tom and Katie's guest list. Rachel is a lucky lady getting to work with these adorable guys on screen, and then going home to Adam. We're excited to see what Hayden and Rachel end up filming together, but we will all have to wait a while. Their sci-fi thriller Jumper is not due out until 2008.

Maxim magazine is calling Borat and Angelina two of the hottest celebs of the year. In fact, they are using both for their first ever double cover issue. Angelina will grace the front while Borat will be the back of the December issue. So what do what you think? Who is hotter; Angelina or Borat?
Remember when Ben Affleck was an up and coming star winning Oscars and dating Gwyneth Paltrow? Then he took a terrible turn for the worse and became a ridiculous joke while he was dating J Lo. He was always looking so done up and as if just left a tanning salon. Well now Ben is admitting that it was as bad of a time for him as it was for us. We love the cleaned up, more serious family man Ben has evolved into. Ben looked relaxed and happy at the premiere of HBO's Ithuteng last night in LA. As for what he said about his time with J. ... J.Lo's ex lover Ben Affleck has admitted their engagement was a huge mistake.
Their high profile relationship ended in 2004, just months after they were due to marry - a wedding that was called off at the last moment.
He said: "I should never have got engaged and never gone down that route. I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn't. I got lost and felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I had to smile for the cameras, but I was really in turmoil. I was no longer in control of my life and I didn't know which way to turn. I felt like a hamster in a cage. The faster my legs went, the less distance I seemed to travel."
Maybe Ben was destined to marry a Jennifer but we're happy Garner was the one he ended up with. His career has made a major come back as well so it looks like he made the right choice.
Despite the hefty price tag, Lindsay and Michael Jackson evidently weren't the star combination that producers were hoping for at the WMAs last night. MJ chose to perform We Are the World over the much anticipated Thriller. Show-goers said his voice cut out during some of the high notes, despite only singing four lines. And LL failed to live up to her GQ Obsession of the Year title, as she was not very popular with the crowd. She was booed twice after screwing up her lines. Whoops.
Still other party goers managed to make the best of it. Beyonce had kind words for MJ at least, saying "If it wasn't for Michael Jackson, I would have never, ever performed. He has made such an impact on my life and every performer's life. Michael Jackson, I love you!" And the audience got all worked up when MJ threw his Roberto Cavalli jacket into the audience, including the designer who was busy dancing with Paris in the VIP room. Angelina has left Pune but trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes. The actress is now in Mumbai where she is continuing to film A Might Heart (in her mighty wig). She was filming at a school today when her bodyguards allegedly got a little too pushy with the parents and students there. Here's more:
The fracas began when the gates of the Anjuman-e-Islam school, which had been locked during filming, were opened to let the parents fetch their children.
"This Jolie's bodyguard called one parent, `You bloody Indian,'" said Mohammed Yusuf Patni, general secretary of the school's Parent Teacher Association. "Children were pushed around."
Patni, who has two children studying at the Muslim school, said "mothers were also shoved aside by the guards."
Dallington TV, a British production company that organized the shoot, blamed the scuffle on photographers and television cameramen that it said rushed the school to get pictures of Jolie.
"We had the full permission and cooperation of the school to film on the premises," Dallington said in a statement. "When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparazzi rushed the school causing confusion."
It sounds like no one got too hurt in the scuffle. Still it's got to be disheartening for Angelina that people keep getting hurt over her. Hopefully she won't drown her sorrows at McDonald's.
Rihanna bundled up for her appearance on The Late Show and looked perfectly chic while waving to her New York fans. She kept things simple in all black but mixed patterns and textures to create a unique look.
